Did you check your Rad you may of damaged the cooler system.

sorry i cant help but you may have a major problem if the car was runing fine before then looks like you got to spend take it to se nisstec.

Maybe you should warm the engine to normal temp in the mornings before you drive off, and you sure the white smoke isnt condensation? The weather has been cold and damp and thats when you get white smoke that dissapares quickly, if the smoke is lingering and you can smell it you may have a problem. Also you may have a leaking water hose somewhere.

Well to be honest when you own one of these cars you,ve got to be prepared to spend money on it when it goes wrong, dont take it to any old mechanic. And smile when you spend like i do :D

Ive seen a cover for the 300zx that fits it like a glove even round the mirrors it was made of a thick canvas,ive lost contact with the guy who had it and im wandering if anyone here knows of where to get one. i think he paid 200 pounds for it.

what wheels did it have may of been me im alwaysound that way.

Why take the bumper off and headlight out just to change a bulb, done mine in 30 seconds.

he did say he paid 20 pounds for the plugs there got to be normal plugs

maybe its because the engine was cold i always let mine warm up to normal temp before i drive off

why not take it for a good tune up?

ive just found out if i pull off the small hose passenger side right next to the balance bar the car runs fine could something be blocked? and can i drive with this pipe off for 40 miles as im taking it to se in the morning.

What would cause the revs to go up and down? ive got a blowing exhaust not too bad, and when i breaked today the car started hunting, and i dont mean animals lol.:o

Changed P.T.U problem solved i was missing number 5 cylinder driving all of a sudden started running bad so today i changed the transistor unit and its running fine again.:D

Ive got the same problerm now and that started with it missing too. Then it worked proper now im running on 5 cylinders i also swapped coil packs and cleaned the injector harness conectors and still no luck. Im going to try another P.T.U just for peace of mind :confused:

could be a pipe to your turbo, i had that happen to me.

would this explain why the car has cut out on me sometimes when i go to stop?

Driving back from work last week just as i was streets away from home the car starts runing like it was on 5 cylinders. Parked up outside my house half hour later started thr car again and it starts nice ,went to park it in the garage and it happens again.well what ive done so far is to pull all the leads going to the coil packs, and you notice a change on 5 of them one of them number 4 cylinder when i pull the conector going to that cylinder nothing happens. Today i started it again it was fine as soon as it got to normal temp it starts running on 5 cylinders again what could be causing this?:confused:

I was driving today car was fine then it started to drive like it was running on 4/5 cilinders, i done a diadnostic test and im comming up with a code 34. what next?:eek:

Anyone know where i can get hold of bulbs for the spot lights on my 1990 j spec 300 ive got 100w in at the moment thats the bulb with the wire attached and the one you just push in they only do in 5w which is too dim so ive got one spot light dimmer than the other, Anyone know of any brighter? i know higher watts are illegal but the ones i have in since i got the car are brighter.
