The 350z is bought by posers, just like the Audi TT etc. The 300zx is bought by enthusiasts. :D
  2. Is the inside of a chrome coating reflective? If so it would reflect heat and prevent it passing through to the atmosphere. You could also say that the extra metal would absorb some of the heat so as a total mass the overall heat/metal ratio would be lower. On the other hand, I doubt it makes much differance really. :D
  3. Chrome is highly reflective so it may actually reduce the heat absorption in to the part from thermal radiation. It would probably also reduce thermal conduction and convection. Unfortunately I'm on call so I'm NOT pissed!
  4. Yes. (If I'm not working)

Fookin' 'ell! I was beginning to think "The Duffman" was just an rumour talked about by the "I remember when you could get a pint for a shilling" brigade. :D Good to have you back mate.
  6. Yep. ;) A thread just uses a link to your sig., not the sig itself.
  7. YYYYYYYYYYiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiihhhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!! :nana2: :hyper:  :nana2: :hyper: :duffer: I think he's got it!
  8. Use Copy Shortcut on the link above or type htp://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/vbgarage.php?do=getimage&id=4402 with the extra "t". It WILL work. :D
  9. You need to copy EXACTLY from the Properties of the photo or COPY/PASTE the link above. The forum software abbreviates the fookin link so I can't type it for you! The link you have there though is wrong. Edit: Here you go, but add an extra "t" in the http bit. htp://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/vbgarage.php?do=getimage&id=4402
  10. You need to Copy & Paste http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/vbgarage.php?do=getimage&id=4402 in between the [ ] markers.
  11. Which picture?
  12. OI!!!!! BunnyBoiler, NOOOOOOOOOO!! :slap: I'm a PRINCE. :D :p

  16. I'll definately come and watch if that's ok. (Can't see the point in paying to prove mine's the least powerfull car there though :nelson: :D )
  17. Yep. One of those hooooooge conglomerates.
  18. They own what was the Japanese part of Goodyear, not the whole of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company.
  19. Actually they are part of Sumitomo Rubber Group of Japan, who trade under the Dunlop, Falken, Goodyear, Sumitomo and Ohtsu brands.

    No contest.............. NSX.
  21. I don't think there's anything easy on a Zed! :( Although I have personally managed to replace the water in the washer bottle. Oh yes, I am good. :nana2:
  22. Was the car just sitting idling during this scan? Engine looks up to temp during the whole scan so timing starts at +15 but spikes up to around +36 several times. Suspect the ecu is doing something. O2's dont change so I suspect you didn't rev the engine. No idea what the AAC is doing.
  23. Come on Pete, stop beating about the bush and just say what you mean!!
