They look like the old aluminium ones too, rather than the later iron ones.

Remember to mark it's exact position before removing it so you know where to align it when you put it back. (If you ever get if off that is ;)) You sure the AVCR isn't causing the problem? Can you bypass it to test?

Is it safe for them do use the rolling road though?

I understand that we should not have our Zeds MOT'd on the 'rolling road' because it might damage the LSD. Is this actually likely to happen or is it only theoretical? Is it a must that they take the car out with their decelerometer device or just preferable? Discuss..........:D
