  1. Nice car Si. Looks in great nick. I think I'd be happy with that one too.
  2. I had a friend who had his done, but he did wear 'milk bottles' LOL. One eye had no problems but the second one they had to do twice. Many people report "halos" around lights at night after having it done too. I'm sticking with my contact lenses. Like Andy said though, the laser only corrects for the current problem. (It burns away the cornea to compensate for the lens). If the lens changes, you're back to square one. You'll probably need reading glasses later in life anyway too. Hey, they're your eyes mate. You burn them if you want to LOL!
  3. Apparently the best random orbital sander to use. Sad that I know that , eh? ;)
  4. Mine lights red so it's legal anyway. :D
  5. The best bit of the night. Sheer class! (The acting that is LOL)
  6. I agree with Dave. The rear HAS to have a JDM sized plate due to the recess moulded in to the bumper. The front does NOT have to have a JDM sized plate as there is no physical restriction on the size you can fit. (I have a UK plate on the front of my '99 spec bumper.) i.e. A non UK plate IS illegal. Just because you get away with it does not change that.
  7. My Laguna had 115,000 ish miles on it when it went back and sounded and drove like it was new. Obviously being a company car it was was religiously serviced but I'd have another one. A mate has the new shape Laguna and swears by it too. Having said that, my sister has a '51 Megane and it's been a bit of a PITA.
  8. I had a company V-reg Laguna 1.8 Sport for 4 years. Excellent car TBH. Only problem I had was when the petrol filter under the car(?) decided to piss petrol all over the road. Interesting moment. :D
  9. Thanks very much Gentlemen  ...and you too Pete. :slap:
  10. Or just run new wires to the rear speakers.
  11. That one (if that's the original) was for the remake in 2000. It's just a movie car. The 1974 version was a much more stock looking Mach 1.
  12. Nope, still don't like it.
  13. Don't expect it to look like that when it's launched though. It's sister car, the new Mondeo, was 'previewed' by the Iosis concept car.
  14. Sounds like a good idea guys. :)
  15. Pot...........calling...........kettle............black...........
  16. I think he loves himself more! :x:
  17. Maybe the diag worked fine and proved your Hicas is fooked! :x:
  18. 9005 HB3 9006 HB4
  19. Looks like a 9006 bulb. I asked a US Ebay seller about bulbs for a '95 300zx and he quoted this fitment to me too!! Either they use different bulbs in the US or their bulb lists are fooked up.
  20. Pete, will you be in your "Amazing Technicolour Dream Car"?
  21. The 'sucking' is normal AFAIK as it's a pressurised system.
  22. It's a series IV so its a lot harder to 'clock'. The previous models took about 2 minutes to simply unplug the odometer from the rear of the speedo. These later ones moved the plug inside the cluster. Also the earlier mechanism could very easily be rolled back, these later ones are a LOT more difficult - but can still be done. (All legally of course!) The better way to tell the car's age is to check the signs of wear. The steering wheel, gear stick, pedals, seat bolsters, arm rest etc. will all wear over time and are difficult to hide. (Although a steering wheel cover helps :))
  23. Not sure about the timing for this Pete. I hear the NE guys are having a joint meet of their own on the same day. Bit of a clash me thinks! ;)
