It can be a bit of a PITA 'cos of the plastic clips holding it in to the channel. One of those "just take your time" things. There's a write-up somewhere how to do it.

They all do it. It's not paint though! It started off as rubber (no honest) but they perish to a hard textured finish. I didn't believe it until I took one of mine off and saw the very bottom bit was still rubbery! Only fix is replace it, or scrape the black crap off and recoat somehow.

The Z32 only uses 3-wire zirconia O2 sensors.

Once you add the hardener to the paint, do you have to use it all up, or will the remainder keep ok?

No they're not. :slap: ;) The ally ones were on the early Zed's. They were changed late '92 to iron to cope with the heat better.

They're cast iron on the post '93 too! :confused:

Yeh, agree Si. Best skirts in the business for the Zed (after the '99s of course). But not cheap me thinks. As for this black stripe thing. Never understood it. Is it just on the old Zeds? ;)
