  1. Best to check the usual mate! Take the oil filler cap off and look to see if there is any cream cheese on it? Also check for oil in the water if you have that then you could be looking at your head gasket??
  2. Im pretty sure 'restraint' means the seat belt as the booster seat is just to bump the child to a good hight for the seat belt to fit round them properly unless your thinking of buying a car seat with a backing connected to booster seat? then the seat belt will fit in and around the child seat and another belt fitted to child seat 'for the child'! then they only fit in the front! Your best bet would be to goto Mothercare they would advise you on what is best or maybe give them a call. I cant advise you on a booster seat as I bought mine a few years ago but for a zed get one as slim as possible! I know a car seat only fits in the front as I also have a 1 year old! Hope you can make sense of that?!
  3. A 4 year old does need a booster seat but with the back seats like a bucket the booster seat has a big hole under it! but they seem to sit in there nice when your kids are sat in it,... as I know, I have 3 kids!!!
  4. Excellent mate! im glad we have found the answer! I will be sorting it soon when I get the chance! hopefully those pegs havent disappeared?? but then SWZ performance is only down the road from me and im sure Paul will have plenty of them!?
  5. Surely theres someone who has a solution on this one??? or is it us 3 in the hole world that has the same problem!!!
  6. Excellent mate cheers! Dident think anyone would have an answer?? but then if it keeps coming undone then im sure someone out there knows what to do?? :nelson: I will tighten the bolts up tomorrow and hope it stay tight?
  7. Just thought I have an MOT coming up soon so I presume this will fail????
  8. Hello all! just noticed that my steering wheel has play in it when you pull it up and down its fine but left and right it moves quiet a bit is this the bushes? or could it be something else? any advice would be great! and is this a simple job to sort?? Cheers in advance!
  9. Oh yeah the back break pipes are nightmare you have to drop the rear axle to get to them.
  10. you want to drive it hard for a while before you put it in for mot that brings the emissions right down! if its been standing around for a month or so the emissions will be high anyway and wont pass.
  11. Your joking:shock: Wont be doing that tonight then!! can I not just use gaffer tape!!! Oh yeah its a TT aswell! Dont think im going to get any time to be doing that must take all day without taking engine out??? Cheers for the help anyway jimmer!
  12. My passenger side manifold appears to be blowing? So had a quick look, and it looks a nightmare to tighten back up?? Can anyone tell me which is the quickest and easiest way to tighten them up?, What size nuts they are? and how many of the nuts??? hopefully will get it done before it gets dark!!
  13. Get all your mates in there quick and show them what it does 0-60!
  14. Im off there in morning mate! hes only 5miles away from me! he did say what it could be which I checked and seems to be the problem, not sure what its called? but smells of fuel when it shouldent!
  15. I can smell fuel in both things you were talking about not very strong though! Will see you in morn mate!
  16. what your number mate??
  17. Im guna ring you now mate! when I find your number?
  18. Yeah I know its a bit rusty but connectors clean anyway!
  19. Ok posted earlier about tps which I have now adjusted and made no difference to the lumpy idle I have checked all sorts so going back to the maf sensor which I presume is the induction kit? if anyone can clarify that for me!? if it is, is this the connector I need to check marked in red circle? I know its spotless but im wondering if theres another one I should be checking?
  20. Just adjusted it to 0.43v and makes no difference to lumpy running so bit pis*sed off! thought that was the problem? So.. on the MAF sensor should I be checking the connector that plugs into the air intake or is there a connector somewhere else? any help would be great!
  21. Ok so using other wire I get .366 and full throttle im getting 1.something? I presume it should be around 0.5v throttle depressed and up to 0.45v full throttle. Think shem out! will adjust again after I have picked kids up from school!
  22. What a Tw*t cheers Legrath I will have a quick bash before I pick kids up!!
  23. I put the multimeter on green wire in the middle on black connector! if I turn tps other way I get over 14v! Im starting to wonder if its anything to do with the humming noise from back of engine at the top??
