  1. with these upcoming law changes that allow ISP to look at people's downloads to see if they are downloading illegally is anyone adding some sort of application that can block people looking at your downloads. Can anyone recommend anything? Even with the rule changes im sure all the hackers and techy people around the world are one step ahead in an attempt to cancel this out.
  2. buying a flat soon so our flat is back up for let and the sooner we can move out the sooner we can get into the new place. on the very slim chance that someone on here might be in the market to rent a 1 bedroom flat in london i will post it up here. http://lets.fletcherestates.com/details.dtx?propertyid=A6B0AB90-90A3-4CAE-8760-7300A1B11290 It is a top flat. Been there for 18months and love the area and the flat. contact the letting agents if your interested.
  3. umm...it is a little panel pin I use with the petrol pump to lock the flow so i dont have to cramp up my lil' handy-wandy after 3 minutes. I am such a pansy. surely that 20A fuse should of taken the hit when it was shorting out. I am a bit gutted if i am going to have to find and replace that unit.
  4. i stupidly managed to fumble the nail i keep in the ashtray into the open cigar lighter hole. Much sparks and smelly fumes later there appears to be no power to it. I checked the 20A fuse labelled CIG LIGHTER in the drivers footwell and that is fine so has it blown a seperate fuse or done some other damage?? How can i fix it? i find it quite useful for juicing up the mobile now and again.
  5. ok well i put the pin in wrong 10 times and it wiped the memory and it is now up and running so i guess it hasnt been reported lost or stolen. I guess i now need to unblock it for orange so it will accept my sim card???? Is the site on ebay the best way to unblock a phone or is it easier/cheaper to take it to a shop? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BLACKBERRY-UNLOCK-CODE-VODAFONE-VODAPHONE-8707v-8700v_W0QQitemZ250224714929QQihZ015QQcategoryZ45586QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem I supose it could still all wrong if the former owner belatedly reports in then i guess it will suddenly go dead on me???
  6. yeah i thought that before i bought it but they were selling stuff so cheap i thought it was worth a try. should i give the wrong password ten time a go?
  7. cheers mario. 12345 doesnt work. any idea how i can crack the phone code? I guess flashing it should wipe the memory but i know about as much about that as i do the female menstration cycle.
  8. on the spur of the moment i bought a blackberry from a lost property dept that was selling unclaimed items. It is a vodafone 8700v. I am on an orange contract so want to unlock it to that. Even turning it on without a sim card in it asks for a security code so i guess this is the first thing i need to unlock it. I have seen an add on ebay that costs £15 and sends you the code to unlock it if you send them the IMEI from the back of the unit. It says that this doesnt work on all lost or stolen phones which i guess this is (even though not dodgy but i guess could have been recorded lost by the owner and blocked out even if they didnt go to the lost property) so i dont know if it is worth the risk of spending the money. Total new to this unlocking phones thing so has anyone got any advice?
  9. just fitted some mintex brake pads as sold by the Zcentre. it doesnt say in the instructions how long i should run them in for. anyone know for these pads or what a general rule of thumb for zeds is when it comes to running in pads?
  10. i found that those metal toy car cogs weren't a good fit. Anyone know what the plastic replacements cost from nissan?
  11. in the early hours i stumbled past a nice looking zed parked on turnmills road near farringdon station. anyone here?
  12. you want to go for a merc 190d mate. one of the best cars for running with veg oil or filtered waste oil. the heavy duty bosch fuel pump Mark is talking about, injectors with wide tolerances, even a fuel preheater ideal for cold days but the guys that run it swear they never have any problems. You can get 2.0L or 5 cyl 2.5L versions and i think they are a good looking car too and are blessed with old school merc builitproof reliability. you can pick them up for less than £500 and the ins and tax is good too. everyones a winner!
  13. Not bothered about anything fancy as i expect they all do the same thing so was going to get a refill from halfords. got to the till and it just so happened the guy in front was buying the same (it had just been raining) and was being charged £7.99 for a pack of refills (why they sell them in packs of 5-10 i dont know as that would take a couple of lifetimes to get through!). There is no way i am paying that for a couple of strips of rubber!!! where can i get a replacement blade without being bent over?
  14. any one have a link for a free stream for tonights big fight - the Haymaker vs Big Macc?
  15. i might be interested but not sure what parts i will need exactly.

  17. i need to replace one of my wiper blades. Are there any blades that show a serious improvement over the cheap halford refills? Did anyone try these flat blade ones on ebay in the end? http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=105770&highlight=wipers any reports?
  18. can someone tell me what the std rolling radius of the z32 is? i.e with std wheels and factory recommend tyres.... The question i have is if my rolling radius is LARGER will the speedo be showing FASTER or SLOWER than i am acutally going and how much difference does it make in mph per cm increase/decrease. I am actually running a HUD with digital readout taken from the ECU but i guess the same rules apply as it takes the factory rolling radius when it calculates the speed from the wheel rotations. Just want to know so i know i am safe when going through speed cameras!
  19. anyone got a link to a site where you can watch premiership for free over the net?
  20. you dont need to uninstall, create a new account or anything. just changing your password will stop them getting in there. If you start a new account you will loose all your contacts and have to start again. another cautionary tale, my normally very careful girlfriend had an email sent from her hotmail account to everyone in her address book advertising radiators or something which was pretty embarrasing for her. if they are in your messanger account then they are in your hotmail email account to. changing your overall msn passport password should sort it all.
  21. You have had the same thing as me. you only get the bug if you click the link and then put in your details on the finding out who blocked you thing. thats how they get your password and can log in as you to send the links to everyone. changing the password should sort it and not clicking the links will ensure you dont get it. It seems to be spreading round like wildfire, understandably as it is so simple and sends the link to all your contacts.
  22. just go into your options on hotmail and it changes all your msn passport (ie messenger, hotmail, etc) passwords.
  23. anyone seen a site that has the Razo manuals on? Could do with one for my turbo timer.
