  1. That is the best god damn ecu tuning pages I've ever seen (maybe I need to search more!!!) I am going to give it a go as I have a mines vx-rom and I've still got my standard ecu to play with ! What do you reckon ? Olly.
  2. ohy, I have a silver zed and I most certainly aint no gay-boy, I reckon people without a silver zed are just jealous !
  3. The one on the back is for bleeding the turbo pressure it exits via that ! The other three, one goes to the inlet to provide the profec with a boost reading and the other two go in between the actuator lines to the turbo. Remember to remove the standard solenoids or at least unplug them so you can reach the boost you want ! Olly.
  4. I have to agree with bluntbrother, I still own my 200 and have the 300 as well and the 200 aint no slouch against it, and feels faster. Thats why I was a little disappointed with the Z, but saying that, now I have modded to the same sort of mods on the 300 as the 200 has it leaves it pretty easily.

If they don't come with hard pipes then they must replace the recircs ! You don't have to remove the bumper to do this ! Remove the front panel, air filter and pipe and look down on each side you will see the original valves. Undo two bolts on each one and the two jubilee clips. Pull the valve out and do the same the other side. Your kit must come with a valve and a bung for each side, put them in and then use the original vacuum feed to each one. Voila dumping everywhere !!!

Yep, do they have hard pipes with them, if they do, right pain in the arse to fit in !!! A bit of twisting and turning to get in the right place and all is well. The drivers side goes in extremely close to the hicas system and the passenger side, very close to the fuse box but they will go in with perserverance ! Remove and block off the old ones or they will not be very loud ! I went to a heating shop and found some metal end stops which fit in the original pipes perfectly. Voila and they do sound nice, you can't hear them until you really give it some and then let off !!! Beware of the bolts behind the original recircs, make sure you undo those as well.
  9. It does if you cut the centre line out !!!

  18. I would have thought the best way would be to have that same intercooler but split vertically, that way left one feeds left from left turbo and right one feeds right from right turbo, but they are both front mounted and receive lots of air !!!
  19. I would have thought the best way would be to have that same intercooler but split vertically, that way left one feeds left from left turbo and right one feeds right from right turbo, but they are both font mounted and receive lots of air !!!
  20. Having recently acquired my Z and now wishing to fit an evc iv it is apparent that all is not as it seems ! There are two pipes coming out of the inside hard pipes that go around the bay and join each other at the back with a t-piece in. Anyone know what these are for and where there supposed to be connected ? I thought they where offering the wastgates the pressure the turbos are producing ! Anyone know where the original wastegates connect to and where the original solenoids are ? Is there anyone in my area who would be willing to show me their engine bay so I could suss out where all the pipes are supposed to go as I can't find anywhere on the net with pictures as such ? Cheers.

I am ofcourse only messing lol, you could if you was really determined sort it out ! but why bother, if you don't want a turbo then buy an N/A and when you are more used to the power and driveability of the zed then pay the extra and swap it for a tt. or just go and buy a tt and scare yourself, thats what I'd do !

if you disconnect the inlet pipe from the turbo and route it straight to the throttle body, and route the exhaust gases straight to the exhaust pipe, the turbo would not spin at all !!! the oil and water would still flow through, but it wouldn't spin !

A bit of string out the window should do it then !!! I'm sure I could tail slide it whilst holding me wastgates open !!!
