Yeah I must say that on that colour crystal would have a similar effect as it would blend a lot better than red. No si please NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Your car is way to smooth for that! Just try one with a drop of any old white paint as an experiment and take a photo from a distance and you will see what I mean. I got my bodyshop man to colour and laquer mine after I prepaired them. Well worth it trust me. Or try photo shopping it out and post up the picture on this thread and lets get some feedback. Whilst I do like the uk number plate shape, I'm not too shure about the twin fog lights at the bottom. A little too buisy for me. But it does look even better from the side, shame they never did a swb version!!!! Andy

This is for all you minimalists out there. Here is a cheap and very effective mod for your Zed. Remove your red reflector from both side of the rear bumper, smooth off the raised writing/numbers with a very sharp knife, sand, prime, paint and laquer. Do the same to the stainless steel screws and refix. This will give you an un-interupted line to the rear quater and draws your attention to the lines of the car instead of a red blob in the middle of the bumper! I hope someone out there agrees and decides to follow suite. Time for all us "Less is More" modders to stand up and be counted!!! hehe! Acouple of comparrison pics for ya. Andy

Cheers Mark, The Door cards were done by the previous owner who, I must say did a great job. I then got a set of leather swatches from Luke and matched the one of the swatches to the alcantara and ordered the Kat Skins. I also requested that the Z logo stitching be in the same colour as the leather for 2 reasons. 1. I thought it would look "factory" and subtle (less is more) and 2. No one had done it before as far as I know and I wanted to set a trend! They took a while to arrive from the USA as promised by Luke. I had a spare set of seats which I paid a few quid for to use as donor seats for the rebuild. For what they cost, I would recomend this as you can use the passenger right hand bolsters to put onto the drivers side seat. It's bettter to do that than just swap them over on an existing set as you are just moving the worn one to the passenger seat. Also if anything else is worn or breaks, you always have some spares. I used the existing sections on foam backed cover as extra padding for the backs of the seats and the seat cushions and pulled them in to give a sumptuous look. You will need a bag of 250 cable ties. Yes that's right 250 and you will use them all!!!!! Any other questions, just let me know! Andy
