Take a look at my car in rides section. I have seen your car when Tom owned it. You are sitting in my old leather seats!! I have Eibachs (.8 inch drop) with standard nissan shocks (new) in addition, I have clamped down the rear springs with Grayston spring clamps which has dropped the rear by another inch or so. The resulting ride is fantastic, not to hard but still handles on UK roads better than most. As for looks, well judge for yourself. It may be what your looking for, Im not sure. If you are near Ascot and you want to pop over, let me know and I'll get the kettle on! Andy

According to my V5 it came over in 2005 and only has 1 previous owner before that. The previous owner also new the guy who imported it also, so I think the reg has no relation to yours. Andy

As above. Just fitted the drivers side PCV valve and now there is a rattling sound coming from that area!! Is it the valve opening and shutting or could I have upset something else when moving all the other gubbings out of the way? Any advice welcome!! Andy

That momo looks good if you have split spokes on the car when you catch a glimps of it when the drivers door is open. I know i sound like a tart but I just have an eye for detail. That's my excuse and I am sticking to it! Forgot to mention that on mine I have darkened the embroidered momo logo with a marker pen so as to make it a bit more subtle. see 2 pics. Andy

Finally got the rear down on my Z. Eibachs all round (.8inch drop) with new dampers and ended up clamping a coil down on the rear (1.25 inch) using Grayston spring clamps as I didn't want to give up the perfest street ride that Eibachs give you. Spent hours doing the rear camber with "too fast too cool" adjustable top arms. Really happy with that now. Have taken the negative camber out a bit on the front with Harves camber kit using existing bolt but it doesnt seem to be enough so that's the next job! Before anyone starts preaching, I know all the pro and cons with clamping and Its a compromise I am happy with. Any way what do you think? no more off roading for me!!! Andy

I've just bought the top ones and opening the box was an absolute pleasure. Build quality looks superb and finish is stunning. Yet to fit them so can't tell you about that yet. I would say they are better value for money than the other ones as you get the divorced dump elbows aswell. I will post up on here how the fitting goes, hopefully this week. Andy

HELP!!! Looks damn near impossible to me!! Am looking to attempt this job tomorrow on the car. Has anyone removed them without taking off the plenum? I f so, how? I have had a go at the front of the hose on the drivers side and it has disintegrated. the clip at the back seems to be a PITA and I can't get a spanner round the PCV valve. Passenger side looks easier but not sure. Anyone done it? Andy

Oh Shit spongey, you are in trouble mate. (I hope this is a joke) They will try and use your bank details to get money or credit. The next thing they will ask for will be money for stuff like bank fees or transfers promising that your share of they money is due any minute. They will try to take you for a couple of grand. Andy

2 MONTH BUT NOT MANY MILES. TYRES - DONT EXPECT MIRACLES ON A 300ZX! I HAVE ADJUSTABLE REAR TOP ARMS AND A SMITHY SPACER KIT ON THE FRONT TO ADJUST CAMBER. EIBACHS ARE SLIGHTLY STIFFER THAN NORMAL BUT THEY IMPROVE THE RIDE A LOT. I THINK I WILL TURN MY CAPS LOCK OFF Now! Andy

Hi Darrell, I have Eibachs on mine which are a fantastic ride with new standard dampers. It's a perfect street ride but not an out and out track day ride. Ride hight is .8 inch drop but the rear still sits way too high. Yesterday I decide to buy a set of spring clamps from Halfords and have clamped one of the coils down completely on both of the back springs. This is an experiment and after 30 miles it seems surprisingly good. As for the looks FANTASTIC!! SWB's do look the bees knees when the back end comes down! If you want, I can do some pictures later and post them up. Let me know. Here is how it looked yesterday! Andy

Do you have auto or manual transmition? Do you have the original rear bumper? Do you have original front indicators? Are your door handles and glove box handle faded grey? Andy
