I will second all the comments above, an abosolutly perfect meet. Just the right mix of driving, food, scenery, fun, and friends. Great seeing the old and new faces, you can count me in for this meet every year. Thanks to Scotty and Athene for making it happen! Now, If I can just find the right cable for my camera I will post some pictures...
  4. Forgot about the metal clips. After you remove the plastic cover you will need to reach in and squeeze the clip so it comes loose and swings out of the way.
  5. NO! You dont need to remove the glass to change the bulbs, there are two plastic screw on holders on the back. One main beam and one low beam (where the wires go in. Just unplug the conector, turn the cover a half turn, and pull them out.
  6. Not normally but this one is so massive (and important) I just might.
  7. That was me. Took a moment to admire your very clean Z and one of the guys told me you were out on a job. Contracting with your company to a very big job for us so I will probably be in again soon.
  8. Maybe the girlfriends borrowing the batteries for her "cordless appliance" .... :D
  9. I think he may have messed with the wrong group this time. This wasn't like messing with ghost hunters or charity workers. Old Gary better stay in well lit areas and watch his back for the next couple of years.
  10. Over and under (but dont delete the fist pic!)
  11. Great pics Dave, thanks for organizing this excellent meet! See you next week on the IOW.
  12. I'm thinking around £100 for the seats. Problem is the only picture in rides doesn't show them well enough to see if they are in good condition.
  13. Hey dog, Do you have a price in mind for the seats? Also could you confirm if you have anti sway bars and aftermarket suspension, and if so what brand they are.
  14. Also hate to see another Z32 being broken but - I will take the seats and door cards, and anti sway bars if it has them. Second dibs on the the springs and shocks.
  15. Dont get cold feet now Big Kim! It's probably safe to say I will be driving farther than anyone (210 miles), Thorsby is abobout 170 miles so continuing to Ferrybridge is no big deal...
  16. To be fair, we only had six 300ZX's on the stand at that point!
  17. I will probably be there. It's a long drive but it will worth it just to see Machine's Pentroof Z again.
  18. Slicktop for me. Not sure if they are rare, we had an equal number of slicktops and T tops at JAE!
  19. Check this story out... Includes a good picture of a black widow, most evil looking spider ever. http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-2004092008,00.html
  20. I wanted to get there early so I could have a full English breakfast and get the locals ready to greet you with pitchforks and torches! You know, when I was a boy we walked 15 miles in the snow to catch the 8:00 ferry everyday (after we milked the cows and plowed the south 40) ...
  21. Had mine set up at a track day last year, only cost me £40 and well worth it. Most track days will have someone available to do this for you. I understand bike suspension pretty well and had tweeked it over time and thought I had it right. Turns out the rear settings were spot on but the front had way too much preload and rebound. After it was set up correctly it made a real difference entering the corners and I havent touched it since.
  22. Just booked the 8:00 ferry and will be camping. 1. Scotty - LIVES THERE - CAMPING? (x2 people) 2. Athene - DEFINATLY BOOKED- CAMPING (x2 people) 3. Legrath - 4. Z32dave - not booking until closer to the date 5. Old Zed 6. ianl - DEFINATLY BOOKED - CAMPING 7. Zogg - DEFINATLY BOOKED - CAMPING 8. Moby and Ned -DEFINATLY BOOKED - NOT CAMPING 9. Eileen & Prof - 10. Stangman - DAYTRIPPER ONLY - BUT I'LL BE THERE! 11. Madmarco - DEFINITLY BOOKED - CAMPING 12. PaulSWZ
  23. I saw a 5C drop in water temp after fitting Smithy's center SS slam panel.
  24. 1. Race set up sprint go cart with 100cc Yamaha 2 stroke engine 2. Lotus Elise - track day at Thruxton (almost as good as the go cart!) 3. Alfa 155 - daily drive from Florence to Bologna 4. 300ZX
