Donington - 16th March
OK, you talked me into it! Just booked in the intermediate group, should be a blast! Done a few track days at Donington on the GSXR so I know which way the corners go. Little worried that I'm going to get turbo envy on the long straights!

Shocked!!!
Sorry to hear this bad news Kim. I'm sure you will find something better. Same thing happened to me in January, but I got a nice exit package after 14 years with the company. Took a month off just to get my head straight. Started looking again two weeks ago, been on a few interviews and two more scheduled next week so should be back to work soon.

It is a Simoni boss and appears to be good quality. I'm a little irked because I bought the wheel and boss together from an ebay trader and expected a Momo boss. Does the Momo boss come with some sort of a collar to cover the gap? Using a Cannon EOS 300D. I've had it for three years and it takes great pics.

coils springs, which ?
I went for the KYB AGX, and Ground Control Coilover adaptors with Eibach Springs. It's been a great setup so far, check this thread for more info (post#19) - http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=102208

Received my new wheel and installed it today. Think it's a perfect match for my interior and it feels sooo nice. Only problem is the small gap around the boss where it goes into the cowel. I have looked at many pics in the rides section but cant tell exactly how other people have shielded this area or if they just used a different brand of boss.

New toy for the wife
Drives really well for a forty year old car! The previous owner replaced the shocks and leaf springs and installed heavy duty sway bars so it handles OK in the corners. But driving it reminds you how far car design has come since this was built. Everything feels a bit raw and when that V8 kicks in it definitly gets your attention! 8K, which is about the average for a coupe. Fastbacks are going for 15 - 20K and a really mint original, matching numbers, show ready car could be up to 30K.

Speak for yourself! You might be worth a Punto...

New toy for the wife
Yea, if I always prefered the fastbacks but it was not what the missus wanted. Good thing because they cost twice as much! Mario, that is a lovely example. Were they getting a full respray?

New toy for the wife
No, not one of those you perverts! Just bought her the car she has always dreamed of, a 1967 Mustang coupe (she doesn't like the fastbacks, thank god). Think this will buy me enough credit to attend all of this years meets without complaint? Still have a lot to learn about Mustangs but this one has 289V8, three speed automatic, and not one spec of rust.
