  1. Lynbrook or Admiral Multicar Trev? Lynbrook is part of ERS (Equity Red Star), but I just reinsured mine for half the price with a broker using ERS??? Very hit and miss and worth a ring round each year, just need to double check everything they offer and what is and isn't covered before taking out any policy..... lol
  2. Well missed the MOT station as they closed at 1pm........ Won't go anywhere else as used same place since I was 17......... apart from this year on my daily driver and had grief with the new MOT station.... So no driving till at least next week now....
  3. Previous insurer wanted £560 for classic agreed value of £10000, but would not give agreed value if kept on a driveway. Looked at Multicar with Admiral, but the sales guy told me not to go with them as NO modifications are covered..... was nice to hear an honest " The policy is wrong for you!" Adrian Flux was very competitive with £330 with agreed valuation of £10000 or £315 without agreed value. Nearly went with them.... But... I had a call whilst getting documents ready for Adrian Flux to take out the policy..... The winner was 'Classic line' insurance who quoted me £274, Fully Comp, Classic Policy, legal, recovery and windscreen, No third party cover for other cars, but just need to send pictures and fill in the form to get a £10000 agreed value..... Funny thing is this was with Equity Redstar same as my previous insurer Lynbrook (part of Equity Red Star) who wanted £560?? I swear they just guess a price....... Now insured so just need to get MOT done and Tax.........
  4. Well I went to insure her yesterday and will be trying to get a good price again today........ Found out my insurance company HADN'T used the agreed valuation certificate from Z club I supplied them and had only covered it for £5000 last year, plus it wasn't agreed value or covered at night as it wasn't garaged..... looks like they forgot to tell me!! Then this year they doubled the cost of last years cover. So trying Adrian Flux, Lancaster, Carole Nash, Footman James..... Tried Admiral multi-car, but won't insure ANY modifications at all..... they just pay out on OEM parts.... My previous insurer was Lynbrooke using Equity Redstar......
  5. Welcome to the bodykit removal club..........lol
  6. I am after the holy grail or even a broken plastic strip that covers the 3rd brake light hole.....?? If you have a broken one it will give me the template to fabricate something a bit one off'ish........ lol
  7. Well the boot lid is now smoothed..... apart from a large patch or 2 of rust bubbles for me to sort out tomorrow after work...... Sealed the holes left behind with carbon fibre look film for the moment till I drag out the angle grinder and welder....... MWAAAAHHHHAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!
  8. I took the picture of my front bumper at last..... before after Also any idea's how to sort the wing to door gap after car got shunted on my driveway? now going outside to remove the veilside double boot spoiler......

  12. 1) I need the metal brackets / bracing pieces that go from inner wings to the bumper / outer wings?? There used to be a flat metal bar fitted before the veilside bumper was put on in 2001..... It was removed to fit bumper and has been lost over the years.... I have the plates fitted on the inside of the bumper..... 2) I need an under tray from front bumper to the crossmember.... Never had this fitted to mine..... Just need it as template so i can fabricate a replacement in aluminium...... 3) Inner wheel arch plastics for a TT as mine were NA ones and were lost years ago........
  13. I am after a good pair of front fog lights if anyone has some please.....?
  14. Well I finally fitted the 99 spec bumper and straightened the front of the N/S wing after someone shunted the front while it was parked on my driveway..... I will have to post pics another time as it got too dark to take any before I was finished.... Just need to realign wing and door next....
  15. Try local fish pond supplier as they are used for the pumps in tanks........ cost pence instead of pounds........
  16. So it's like it's a premature thing and your squirting before you are ready?.......... :whistling:
