  2. I have no idea........ I was just handed 2 that they were going to throw in the bin.......... lol I think Large........ but don't quote me on it........
  3. I have these at work..... I was given 2 of them that had been used by the valeters to cover a couple of New BMW's that were prepared for customers to collect....... they throw them away after use, but they are mint....so perfect for my Z and protecting after preparing to paint some bits...... They have them by the roll........ Worth it for short term cover say for a show after you polished and waxed the day before........
  4. Put the Z back together, but....... Found I need all discs, pads and rear handbrake shoes........ so that is my next saving plan....... lol Loads of surface rust underneath on arms, front crossmember, rear axle, etc....... so need to strip off loads of parts, media blast them and powder coat......... winter project coming up...........
  5. you need the hands of a small child and the arms of mr tickle......... I have a 7 year old son who doubles as a socket and bolt retrieval device....... like a swiss army knife, but without the blade....... lol

  8. mine does........ well it did the last time I filled her right up........ that was a while ago......... lol
  9. Today I cleaned and painted lots of parts while I was replacing the rear bearing Hub..... Borrowed the press at work to take the centre splined section out of the hub, then cut the remaining bearing piece with an angle grinder to make a groove. Next was a sharp chisel to split the piece in 2....... It shattered..... yay..... Then it was press the new hub and splined section back together..... Swap the dowel from the old hub to the new one and she was ready to be reinstalled..... I sprayed the all arms, outer rusty looking part of the CV joint, the driveshaft, alloy hub (silver), brake back plate......... and here is the result...... All ready for tomorrows rebuild..........

  11. I agree Dan, but never seem to get the time I need to go all out on her........ The wife, kids and work seem to get in the way........... lol
  12. stripped off NSR hub for new bearing....... That was fun with every single nut stuck rusted solid.......... Time to strip and repaint a few parts while i'm here........ Why do we do things like this??? Why don't we pay a mechanic to do the work? Are we sadists or just tight?

  16. I started stripping the NSR hub...... Well took off wheel, spigot ring, split pin and then soaked the seized bolts for tomorrow......

  19. Well my order from the US actually arrived today....... I think that is pretty good as ordered Thursday evening and delivered on the Monday....... Can't complain with that service..... Timken 511011 is the NA one and 511010 is the TT version...... It looks well made...... so shall be fitting ASAP.... Or when it stops bloody raining..................Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!

  22. Ordered on 18th, shipped on 19th and due to me on Monday 22nd...... took longer due to weekend........ They estimate 3 to 4 days...... Pretty good I think....... It shows as being in Enfield GB on the tracking....... Sent FED-EX.... I will let you know if it actually arrives tomorrow.....
