There's a fuel injector/rail (I think) earth point at the back of the engine tucked under the loom behind the balance bar which must be a good place to earth to. Was gonna measure up and rejig the 300ZX kit but Ryan came and took my engine out lol :D

Maybe the boost jets are letting air around them? Some are smaller than others. Whack a cable tie or two around the wastegate vac lines where the boost jets are :)
