  1. Yeah theres miles of headroom in the 300, I'm 6'2, in contrast if I look up in my 200 I can lick the ceiling :D Probably.
  2. Oh yeah you might be right there :) Wheels dont look right. Berks what are you on about? Bloody Aquada :smw:;)
  3. Its a Fiesta Berks :smw:
  4. No, Mince. EDIT - thats not an order btw :D
  5. Need some help here guys :wack: I came home today and Mrs Shrimp had been doing the housework, including sorting out her 2.3x10^18 pairs of shoes in the bottom of the wardrobe, and the other random bits that end up in there. She found something very unusual which between us we can't explain... Screwed up in the corner was a Dorothy Perkins  bag. You know, black with the handles ;) Inside this bag she found something v strange: A can of girly bodyspray, undamaged and almost full. On testing it sprayed fine. Also in the bag was the remains of a Tescos carrier bag Remains as in, completely shredded, the smallest shreddings being akin to dust sized particles  The larger sheddings, well like fron a shredder. Amongst the remains was the Dorothy Perkins receipt, undamaged. WTF?!?! We quickly thought of some possible answers... 1) Onions, our cat, (not Mike Onions  ) occasionally brings mice in. Nest in the bag etc. But why not chew the DP receipt up. And we also found a packet of hula hoops amongst the shoes, which surely would have been polished off. No droppings, chewed shoes or anything. 2) Somehow the spray has leaked and worked some chemical magic with the plastic Tescos bag? However the lid was still on, the spray can was unpunctured and pretty full. 3) This was biodegradation in action. However there was another Tescos bag nearby whoch was fine. We keep bags generally, in a cupboard downstairs, and have never experienced Tescos carrier bag degradation before. Any more suggestions are welcomed, no, begged for! I'll not sleep tonight. Cheers :D Pete
  6. Photo and a bit of info http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=25817&highlight=rear+strut+brace+fitted :)
  7. LOL Yeah I should think of something to say like that, I always just say "No, not interested" and hang up lol. I keep planning to say to double glazing cold callers "I'm busy, can I ring you back later when you're at home?"... wait for their negative reply and then say "Well dont fooking ring me at home then!" But since I signed up to that tpsonline I dont get any :D
  8. LOL Every profit oriented organisation's aim is usually to increase shareholder wealth. Customer service and satisfaction usualy helps achieve this in the long term. You get bad service, you go elsewhere, simple. However the difference with insurers is that they are all as bad as each other so theres no point going elsewhere, you'll be shafted from every angle (like AdamR), and they know that...
  9. I was 2/3 of the way through my policy with A FLux so couldn't shop around. It worked out at 2200 Fully Comp  On renewal, still 22, I went TPFT with Tescos for 1300
  10. I can see your point though - why should the owner of a fast car be penalised automatically. I hate car insurers and everything related. I always feel like I'm being scammed. They take take take money, v quickly, charge you interest then try to aviod paying out  And when they do pay out they take ages. They have XXmillion pounds in their account, Joe Driver has fook all and needs a new car. The hallmark of a good insurer (there arent any anyway :p ) is how they handle claims IMO
  11. Put the wifes Volvo V40 Estate on autotrader late last night. Already today I've had 2 phonecalls from cardata and some other advertising company and one email from some other crap company  :headvswal WTF would I want to pay another company for advertising when I've just put it in the autotrader?? This cardata bunch of tw4ts... £70odd for a sale "guaranteed", we have people looking for your car etc :xxx: Yeah right  Where do they advertise then? I personally have never seen them advertising cars for sale so why would I pay to advertise through them??? Grr! Pete
  12. I'd only lose it :p And that doesnt add bling :D
  13. Hi I fiited some bling fuel lines and a fuel cut off tap to my car the other day and have just had a thought... What what happen if someone tried to start the car with the tap closed? It is positioned in the engine bay before the injectors etc. The fuel pump will try and force fuel through it wont it? I guess a fuel line could burst off? Am I right, or cause worse damage be caused? Obviously stopping the car being nicked in the event the alarm and immob are disabled, is the reason I've fitted it so it would be better than that hehe. Cheers Pete
  14. I was 22 when I got my zed, most wouldn't quote (mines a modded import) but the ones who did who I can remember were Tescos, Adrian Flux, Norwich Union through Insurance Factory. DONT use the Insurance Factory (my revenge attack on them) - I still havent received my rebate (a few hundred ££) from cancelling my policy in November!! No doubt I wont get interest either, although I was charged it  Anyway... dont get disheartened by a few refusals, some are funny with age.
  15. Ive fallen in love with the 300zx TT manual 2+2  can u get this in uk model? - Yes How reliable are they 4 breaking down? - No worse than any other car of similar age, generally reliable if looked after. Service history and regular oil changes are important. How long do turbos last b4 they need reconditioned - some say 60k miles but I dont know where this came from lol, depends on frequency of oil changes and whether they are treated well, warmed up, down etc + all wheel steering? - do a search for HICAS, some like it some dont Cheers Pete
  16. Yeah you fooking communist Nelson :mac1:
  17. Wasn't it advertised on the forum a month or so ago?
  18. Yeah I wonder if the uneasy feel that HICAS reportedly gives people is due to bushes etc that are worn which could simply be replaced lol? Anyone removed HICAS on a 1999 300ZX? :p
  19. Makes people think they are better drivers Harve ;) You know like removing traction control, abs, power steering etc :D
  20. Can you do mine next please ;)

Would be better (and cheaper for the club) to just use ebay as the advertising medium. Stick £0.01 buy-it-nows but link http://www.300zx.co.uk in the blurb ;) That way the username issue doesn't matter and the club doesnt suffer the final valuation fees from ebay :)
  22. Who's is that? Cos I was wondering htf I was gonna get rid of mine eventually lol.
  23. :pmsl::pmsl: What did you think the two loops were for? :p
  24. Alex - Hi mate :) - wasn't there a time last year when it was gonna be ready for Billing? :wack: Big slap for SE from me :slap: Cant wait to see the XX-X XXXXXs :x::D
