Yeah thats what they seemed to think on TT.net, that the advantage was because of the degradation of the existing earth. Not much of a hassle for "smoother idle and better throttle response"...wonder if it'll brighten the headlights ;) Pete

Morning! Hardly the biggest 'problem' lol but something that got me thinking this morning. Trundling along normally lightly resting on the accelerator pedal as you do... when I lift off, there is what I can describe as engine braking for a second, quite noticeable when you are thinking about it. I'm sure it has always done this but can anyone explain what the autobox does when you lift off the pedals? :) Is it simply the clutch disengaging? Cheers Pete
