  5. Uniroyal rainsports are excellent front tyres, great in wet and dry! I've got Goodyear Eagles on the the rear, these have impressed me in the wet and dry too. Have a look round http://www.mytyres.co.uk Pete
  6. 60,000miles IIRC. John (the other one) stop being a cheapskate!:D:D:D
  7. It'll only affect a future mortgage adversely if you default a few payments. In fact obtaining some from of credit is actually beneficial (as long as you make the repayments ;) ) as it gives your history a "good reference" which is seen as better than no references by lenders referring to your credit history. You do have to declare loans when applying for a mortgage, and it does affect the max loan you can take out with some providers but not all. Worst case would be monthly loan repayment x 12 comes off your gross salary figure. Pete
  8. Whats wrong with mushy peas...? :D:D:D Lovely :nelson: :x:
  9. What is it with xmas and chocolate, I like the stuff but its getting silly... I fought through the crowds yesterday lunchtime to get some bits from Woolies and was amazed! Almost half the ground floor was chocolate bars, boxes, etc - OMG!! Go and have a look! Its taken over! My mrs is a primary school teacher and every year she is given so much chocolate it is ridiculous! Good for last minute unexpected present giving tho lol ;) This is worse than peas FFS! :slap:

  18. Will do :) - Would be good to have a switch to activate the ALC when you want, as I hear they create more wear & tear on the 'box. I guess it wouldn't be that difficult...
  19. I have got an ALC as it goes, I'll test the voltage across th TPS then and reset ECU and things and see what that does.
  20. Cool cheers :) It kind of annoys me once I start thinking about it LOL  ...whilst driving in free moving traffic especially. Guess I should just keep my foot down more ;) :D Suppose it must be top gear cos when you're idling along it will up shift anyway.
