Just seen this on turbo website? what type of sound would that be lol i know it hard to explain sounds with words but would i mean like a loose metal sound?

wow!!! i could fit 4 of them to the Z lol and 4 dump valves, its going to be metal fast lol

cant really get this to happen when moving if so not noticable, i have an apexi cone filter fitted, why would that change anything?

could be the idle valve, are they easy to change and what type of cost are you looking at?

Hi all, only really noticed today but if i hold the revs at any position lets say 3000rpm the revs will drop about 200rpm and back up then down etc it will do this at any position? Doesnt seem to be a misfire but could this be a fuel pressure problem? if there is a leak under the plenum which im going to remove soon could this cause that problem?? Regards Andy

looks like some kinda alfa design

when the plenum is off is it much of a bigger job to remove the heads? if im going half way my aswell do it all lol and when the heads are off can the turbos be removed? Regards Andy

great, did you have any instrution or did you just try and learn on the go? how long do you think it would take to do, would it be easier with the plenum off?

has that got a TT bumper?

Hi People, thinking of keeping the Z now and putting it off road for the summer and doing some repairs. Going to remove the plenum and change the fuel lines underneath and injectors. But while doing the job was thinking of replacing the main engine wiring harness. But cant find any instrutions on how to replace the harness, can it be done on the ground or will i need a ramp? i know i shouldnt listen to my heart and look at the whole picture but i know i will regret it whens shes gone. i really need about the £3000 mark and wouldnt be worth selling for any cheaper. Its going for MOT next week so might be the decider! Andy

i like it, great on paper but like above just more to go wrong over time. Dont want to get rid tho as want the car to be standard.

After all the tears and blood over the years i dont get many of these moments. Driving her for about 10mins earlier everything came to together! No creaks, knocking, hesitation nothing but me, the Z and open road in perfect harmany. Really needing the money and putting the Z for sale yesterday, already getting bad feelings about it. Now confused what to do!! Regards Andy

Hi, changed the temp sensor and plug last year but when looking at this issue on the threads does lead to the temp sensor, will remove and check it again just incase.

Hi Stu, thanks for your reply, i checked them they seem tight cant see any damp areas at the minute. Are these the only rubber pipes in the engine bay? they are metal from tank to engine arent they?

Hi all, my Z stinks of fuel but only on start up and also hesitates but when she gets warm both these problems clear. could this be due to the old rubber fuel hoses on the engine? should i get the metal pipes from smithes? Regards Andy
