  1. No advice for you....still working hard towards getting married me...... But for you.. I hope it is a fantastic day for you both
  2. Friday, What you can do is have it set up as Framed web forwarding You go into your control panel, then select your domain name in Manage Domains, Then choose Web Forwarding Then choose "Framed web forwarding" This keeps your bought name in the address bar and hides your convolouted name from tiscali It *might* do to start you off...............then when your site grows you can move over to paid hosting......
  3. I repsect both of your opinions, considering I am a novice compaired to you guys, but from my experiences of door mounted and b-pillar mounted I don't see the big fuss. But I do disagree that it *proves* anything. With the correct amount of force the seatbelt tensioners would lock in place, locking the seatbelt at the length it is and pressing down against the waist of the person sitting in the seat. Despite what I think what I would focus more on is the fact that as Legrath stated they did move them to the place where *proper* cars have them......with the millions that goes into R&D with Nissan you'd assume they have a good reason for it. Probably with so many people with small children, people lying around their cars unconcise, people running about the country hammerless and stanleyless (what were they thinking when they left the house that morning - I mean really who doesn;t carry one or the other at least !!) and all the doors littering the doorside that have been ripped off.............I suppose they listened to the customers.....failing that it was just cheaper to put them there rather than reinforce the doors. Now that's definately something we all wouldn't want eh?! By the way it's a tidy looking HR-V Legrath that you have for sale...all the best with it
  4. Do you not have any free webspace supplied by your ISP?? You could point your domain name there......depends on what type of content will be required on your site mind you.
  5. I don't really want just "someone" coming over to "help" me if I am unconcise.........ridden too many motorbikes to know that unless the person is in emminent danger....leave them alone till the "proper rescuers" come. You are never too far from a "window opening device" anywhere. What specific age range are we talking about here? Cause if they are too young and dont wriggle, they are too old they don't get out.....and everywhere inbetween they are in their own little seatbelts in the chair/seat itself. It tugs at you slightly I'll agree, but your seatbelt should be off before the door is opened, it is the way things are done....learner driver stuff - the order of things to be done upon entering a car is reversed when exiting......tell you mates to keep their filthy paws off!!
  6. I see you chanched the door ripped off one. If it is that serious and the door is ripped off......the door including 2 of the fixed point of the seatbelt are moving away from you again......there is only one fixed point left (the clip beside you.)
  7. eeeemmmm.....how exactly? rescuers would be equipped to deal with tools like a hammer and a stanley....alot of car automatically lock for safety now when the ignition is turned on.....so they wouldn;t be able to simply open the door in that case anyway. Nonsense.....you just put the baby in shut the door and lean over from your side, grab the buckle and pull it round to the clip. Nonsense again, the door opens about 2" before the waist band part stops it going any further......the neck part is moving away from the body.
  8. did you buy just the name or hosting as well?
  9. The ones on the door then obviously then - as the Dept of Transportation says that they are safer - I am inclined to agree with them, all the tests and technology - why would you doubt it? I have read loads of threads on this one, but I cant really see any great disadvantage with them being on the door.
  10. Watch yourself with this one though.........took them 8 weeks to get mine sent to me!

Varied - To give everyone a chance to get to one Just my 2p worth.......if I still have the Zed later on.........
  12. Just voted.......what a lovely couple!! aaawwwwww....
  13. My worry is that she squeezes me in and I then sell the car!! If Berrica isn't coming then I'd take his place if I still have the car.... Probably best that I have my status as just come as a visitor on the day at the moment though.........I am really planning on having it sold before I go back to work £800 was the cheapest I could get it at the time........The renewal for the UK Spec one was about £400, then told them I had just bought a JSpec one and the price went through the roof.....everywhere else is over £1000.... :( I have 3 points for speeding in a 30 zone and 1 previous accident(just my old car involved) and 2-3 years NCB Speak to you later, Michael

  21. Hi Mike, I do remember reading some posts from you a while back....it is always sad when the time comes to leave a part of your life behind, but I'm sure you'll have made the right decision. Maybe if there is less pressure on you, you'd be able to become a full sit back have cigars and cocktails type of member now!! Take care........... Just out of interest, what kind of usage does a forum this size use Monthly on average and how much webspace is required to run the BB inc all the photos etc?
  22. Your never too old.....in fact you'll probably appreciate it all the more, especially if you have been running about in old capris :p (ooopppss my cheeky side just got out of control there.....I'll just give myself a slap :slap: There we go all better.....back to being nice to the new folk for a wee while......) I see from the pic your girlfriend's is a Normally Aspirated model (NA) as opposed to the Twin Turbo (TT) it is a very tidy looking model indeed. All the best with the hunt for the perfect Zed............and welcome. Enjoy the skiing!
