  2. I had this on my UK car when my passenger side turbo went.......got boost all the way up to zero then no more. I had decided it is to do with the rear turbo seal as well, but like someone else on the forum writes- "I stand to be corrected"
  3. there is a section somewhere on here about buying a used 300ZX .... the what to look out for......the rear arches are pretty much a common thing, though not as common on the Imported models as the UK ones......find out when it came over here. Some one else will be able to direct you to the what to look for page as I cant find it just now
  4. If you get it off and it is the same as BigMinceys......he sold it to me for £30, you can have it for the same if you like. Just PM me your details.
  5. some people report trouble getting them out...mine is a 92 jap auto tt and came straight out....no problems....
  6. here it is http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=81463&highlight=speed+sensor
  7. Dt the spped sensor is on the drivers side, of the gearbox I'll see if I can find the photo of it again.....but I'm sure its on the forom somewhere.......do a wee search for "speed sensor"
  8. see this thread for different photos of speed sensors http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=93596&highlight=speed+sensor
  9. I'd agree sounds like a speed sensor, I'd also say that you need to watch which one your buying, there are different ones for Auto, Man, TT and NA by the looks of it.
  10. Hi, I know there is the breaker EuroJap in Coatbridge, but BigMincey mentioned one over ibrox way.....just can't remember what the name was. Anyone any ideas? I am looking for a radiator off a Jap 92 TT auto, but the one in Coatbridge is looking for £70.....which is a bit too steep considering I can get a new one (not from nissan but newly made however for £120 delivered.) Cheers, Michael
  11. Cheers Guys............... I was looking at uprated ones, but they were too expensive and this new one at £120 looks as though it will do the job. (esp considering 2nd hand ones are around £80, a brand new one for £40 more seems a good deal.)
  12. Hi I have just found out I need a new radiator for my Automatic Jap 1992 TT I have read there are some differences between the NA and TT ones, not to mention Auto and Manual.. any ideas if this one will fit my car? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NISSAN-300ZX-TURBO-V6-RADIATOR-3-0-1990-1996-NEW_W0QQitemZ190094526881QQihZ009QQcategoryZ10402QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem Cheers, Michael
  13. My silver one is a daily car.....TT....... who cares about fuel and the costs......... as long as your happy.....and a zed does put a smile on yer face!!! :hyper:
  14. I have to agree Si, The mechanics drove my car up the road - about 100 yards to chech the rattle from the exhaust and as I watched it drive away i though "F%&k me, my car really is georgous" I sepecially love the back end when the brakes are pressed or the indicator used......they are soooooooo wide!! I've introduce a whole load of youngsters in Scotland to what a cool car REALLY looks like................ I have the coolest car in the school's car park...... A great feeling when the poor little ones ask "What kind of car is that sir? It's amazing!!" When I had the black one they decided it was either Knight Rider or more amusingly "the batmobile" - hhhmmmmm wonder if I could get one of those afterburner thingys fitted......
  15. mine is wider touches both sides of my screen now, but not wide enough to require scrolling from left to right. Just perfect now!!
  16. Definatley Baseball caps..............you need them when the lovely sun is shining in through the T-Tops in your eyes cos its too high for the sun visor to block it out..... .... .... ..... ah summertime!
  17. there is a seller on eBay from hong kong that can do all the hose.....but it takes about 2-3 weeks for delivery.
  18. I had Ventus on the rear of my old zed and they were not too bad in the wet, I now have Toyo on the rear of my new zed and they are really good, plus at only £87 each at the moment (delivered free as well if you buy 2 or more) I'll be buying them again when I need them
  19. Hi Barry, Are you an accessories place or are you a "fix yer car" garage? Just wondering as you are in Whitburn it's really close to me if I need work done. Cheers, Michael
  20. I had a UK one with KUMO tyres on the rear......they wern't too hot. I now have a Jap one with the same size tyres as the UK one (245's)with Toyo tyres on the rear and in the wet it's not great, but a good bit better. Just been to the petrol station and worked out that at the moment with a bit everthing driving, (some backroads, some town, some m/way, some heavy foot blasts past rows of cars) I'm getting about 19mpg
  21. I was always frightened that if my dad drove faster than 88mph we would end up going back in time to the olden days!!
  22. Cheema's about right here...... but you must have a heavier foot than me. MPG is a funny one depending on how you drive...... .....somewhere between 1 (hammering it LOL) and 26 (crusing up a m/way at 70).
  23. Got mine this morning too!!! Thanks Steve Do we have to fill in the back page and send it back? Is this not the info you got from us already? Cheers, Michael.
  24. Yip the mad scary woman as pointed out by BigMincey earlier "as seen on etyres.co.uk"
  25. If I still have mine......count me in Alan!!! You can buy me 20 hot dogs with the cash!!!!!
