  1. Firstly, huge thanks to Mark Topless for arranging the meet at Virginia Water And 2nd, Cheers to all the members who showed up at the meet. Good to see some of the newer folks too and nice to put a face to names. Out of a possible 22 names from the 'i will be there' i think we got 19, Even though the weather wasnt that good, we all made an effort. South Central and South east, we know how to have a good meet and get a bonus of watching a Merc burn. Felt really sorry for the owner while all of us watched, and Bullit and i just kept taking pics................. Plus my my daughter (Holly) got a souvenir........U know what i mean. Cheers Stu
  2. And Mark couldnt get close enough lol, even asked the fire lads to all give a thumbs up..........lol

  8. I love my zed got it for a bargain price and have done all work myself, i enjoy fixing it and it gets driven every single day, rain or shine, its a good way to de-stress after work. It always makes me smile and feel proud to be an owner of one of these beasts. As Nick said, when youve been trained to drive very fast but safely, ie TPAC there is always the odd time when you can get caught out, but if you just take it a bit easier, then it wont end in misery. Si give it time and it will all come back.
  9. You my old cup cake are having a giggle. One good thing though "There is almost 1 year let on the MOT" Who the fook did he let it too....................
  10. I changed mine a few months back for a new Nissan one, didnt see any different to the previous but its a clean new one. Does that mean in the past it should of had one????????????????????
  11. Superb find, the scenary is great....................
  12. i tried to do the heads with it still in car dan, after nearly a weekend gave up, and took the engine out
  13. Meet in the main car park of Virginnia Water, not the pub one as it cant hold all us. 12pm, alot get there earlier, quick beer and a chat then some messing about doing the odd tyre screech lol
  14. With nothing to do this morning, and with the Virginia Water tomorrow, ive put the rears on at last, and cleaned the lady and given her a good polish. Should be a good meet if weather holds out. Looking at 22 zeds so far.
  15. Cool, of course its ok ,the more the merrier, good to see zeds, theres a wealth of knowledge hopefully going to this. Any probs you have just ask, have a chat with Topless, as he is taking his laptop and can give a full diagnosis of your zed. Stu
  16. I want a new signature that goes with my posts, who is any good at them on here. Ive got a few ideas, but how the hell do i make one up, or just ask someone nicely to do one for me.
  17. Both of my zeds have done this, dont know why, maybe just the car giving it some extra revs to handle the fan. If i turn it off, the revs drop back down But it works, seems the norm to me.
  18. That is mahooosive mate!!!!!! What does it sound like..??? Are you keeping it Black??? If so welcome to the darkside of black zeds. They look the nuts.................:hyper: Keep em coming.
  19. Woooohoooooooo 1001 post for me.............. Looking at some of the post counts on here, im not even close, Its taken a while, a majority of posts have been a good input and help, but a the odd few have got me in some muck................

  22. LOL Exactly, just narrow it all down. TAke car for drive to get it warm, jack up, empty old oil and remove filter Fit new filter and oil. Remove jack, check levels and drive off. Love to see this thread if it was about removing the zed engine and box.
  23. I know what it was, the guy at the begining shows him an invoice for his TT conversion on the zed, plus a few extra stuff. Ha ha totally lost it...............
  24. Easy job to do, make sure you get hold of a 1megaolm resistor, i picked up 5 for 50p, from a radio and tv spares place.
  25. IVe only ever seen one blank up for grabs on ebay and that was over a year ago, i offered £75 and wasnt even close.
