  1. Jesus Sean, i know the greif it caused you last time mate after our chat, hope you get it sorted asap. I'll get me blowtorch and molegrips and we shall go hunting. Let me know how you get on mate.
  2. Just been into Sainsburys to get some food, and they have a case of 15 cans of Stella for £6.99, went out and got a trolley load..............:hyper:
  3. Jimmy, I think they look superb, alot of cash i agree, but well worth it for the look, engine looks the nuts mate.
  4. Cheers Jimmy, anyone else can add to this?
  5. If its the K series engine, i killed 1x 214, 1x216, always prone to HG failure, easy enough to fix, have you done a comp test. On one of the 216's i split the side of the block.
  6. Honest advice needed on this please folks. My clutch has just started slipping slightly, at the higher rev end of 3rd and 4th in my UK Manual. I want to replace the complete clutch kit, but go for an uprated one, due to possible mods in power in the future. Looking at threads alot state RPS is the way to go, but some have had issues. Whats the best to go for and will involve the least hassle with bleeding etc.? While box is out, what else is worth doing as more of a maintenance side, oil seal, prop bearing etc? Cheers Stu
  7. Sounds like a good way to go mate, would look great with loads of zeds and load jap cars behind the hearse. Why not have the box made of stella cans, im sure between the two of us, we could make more than a few:duffer:
  8. God i cant beleive this has wound me up so much. Just gone out in the zed, notice a slightly low air on rear tyre. Go to petrol station to fill it up. Some stupid silly old donk, gets in front of me and starts to use the air pump. 1st, gets the air thing puts on his front left wheel, after about 2 mins, he then proceeds to the other front. As i look and start thinking about ways to remove him from this earth, he starts on the rears. Now im sitting there, watching this pillock and decide to tell him so " you need to push the button to get it to work" He looks at me and smiles and says "silly me" and presses the button, machine now works As i sit staring working out ways to melt him to nothing, he does all his tyres, Jesus he is so bleeding slow!!!!, and because he has taken so dam long to get going, he has actually let more air of the rear tyre than was in it before (as the machine has stopped) He then drives off waving at me to say thanks, I will wave at you next time mate as i set you sail on your last journey. WHY THE FOOK ARE THESE IDIOTS ON THE ROAD and dont you understand section 428b OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC ACT 1988, If the zed is on the road, you will move of the way. AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Rant over. Stu
  9. LOL its great taking someone out in a zed for the first time, a neighbour wanted a go in mine, as his MR2 was the quickest he had been in before, the look of pure terror on his face was priceless. Now he helps me out when im working on it. Good stuff............
  10. Interesting!!! Ive always used normal unleaded or occasionally Shell V, never had a prob, used tesco super once and it coughed like a banshee, Still use normal, but every 3rd tank a bit of wynns injector cleaner, runs spot on. Mine is a UK TT

  14. I had a go at mine, then gave up due to beer, took bits to a local metal polisher company, £80 all in. He has the big proper machines to do the work and the results were outstanding
  15. With the box still on, hats off to you. done with box off and that was hard enough.
  16. LOL What a plonker!!! having read some of the posts, even other 106 drivers cant beleive he had removed it.... He would be the type to buy an electric super charger sound thing.........lol
  17. Nothing major, just a good oil change on the box, and diff, new plugs, cleaned the induction and boost jets, cleaned throttle bodies, and idle valve, and alot of the electrical stuff, going better
  18. U spotted me mate..... in West Quay, Put a card on the windscreen.
  19. Driving home from London today, get onto a nice empty dual carriageway when a Black TVR Cerbera pulls along side the zed, and gives it some rev's, so not wanting to just let it lie, the zed turns into a wild animal, WOW the TVR was quicker, but i wasnt far behind, they can go some, after a bit of playing and cooling the breaks down we arrive at some lights, the guy says to me with a huge smile " when i saw your zed, i thought, he will definatley have a go, im so glad you did, ive always loved zeds, good on yer mate, " We both went seperate ways grinning. LOVE THESE CARS!!!!!!!!!!:bow:
