  7. Had exactly the same, had to jump start everyday, turned out the battery was dead, enough to start on a jump, and drive, replaced with a higher amp one, never had a prob since.
  8. Ive got two spare big plastic bits and 5 of the washers if you need em Ant.
  9. I took my old prop of my auto yesterday, will take one tomorrow to a local shop and get the exact measurements for you if any help and post back on here. Stu.
  10. I think i will do, to try and provide a "how to guide" as i havent found one yet on all the zed sites. Done one for the headlights. targa trims, so will try and do it for clutch replacement. Stu
  11. Im doing my new clutch next weekend, luckily at a mates garage, with full access to ramps and air compressor. Ive done clutches on other cars no probs, also changed 2 x zed engines (Uno's old one and mine) and auto boxes. 1. What is a rough idea of time scale that others have done them in???? 2.Mine is a 94 UK, and has the bleed nipple on the slave, does this help me when i get to bleed it. Honest answers much appreciated. Stu
  12. Blimey Stella, your on the ball this morning, posted at 1037, Wham your there at 1038. Stella has power..............
  13. They are located on the base of the washer bottle, if you have the plastic splash engine shield underneath from the bumper to drivers front wheel remove it. Might need to turn wheels as 2 x 10mm nuts are in the arch. MAy just be bad connection or blocked up.
  14. Dan the wheels looks excellant mate, nice to see the black zeds looking good...................
  15. Ron, good to hear mate, is this since we last chatted and you just managed to get home....... If so, then i fully agree first class service. Think i will be doing the drive to Zedworld soon. Stu
  16. Good to see your back mate, missed not seeing regular pics of the beast. Hope you still got it..........
  17. Alan as you got the metal water pipes off, put some new rubber hoses on at the same time, either side of the stat. as the old are prone to cracking Sorry Jim.
  18. Good spot Jim, if not your nice new engine would have been covered in muck, plus its sticky muck too.
  19. IM not a lover of white interior but it looks the nuts, plus the colour of your zed is wicked. IMHO just need to get some black mats.
  20. Welcome mate, nice to see you have a passion for zeds, is that Strongbow in the boot i see..........
  21. LOL Vinz, did they steal your brake fluid lid................. Seriously, i would stay away from anything which has water in it to clean a zed engine, way to much electric stuff to mess with. Just good elbow grease.
  22. After the issues with trying to remove my sensors that are dead. Two options i need a bit of tech help with. What causes them to die, have i have cleaned the connectors but still nothing? After chatting to Bee Gee Vinz, he had his relocated, im thinking of putting them further down the pipes, to make more accessible from under the zed. if doing this, what size nut do i need to weld onto the pipes aqnd where is best to situate them. Anyone else done this. Stu
  23. There have been loads, most have been posted here, but the two classics are these: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=110045&highlight=tongue+balance And if you ask anyone who went to Sushi sunday at Goodwood, they all found this very very funny (read thread and check me out on page 2) http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=118729&highlight=shrapnel There will be more in the future im sure Stu
  24. Its a ball joint from one end of the rear boot struts that hlifts the boot up.
  25. It is true that jap ones are less rust free, but some UK ones if they have been looked after are just as good. Mine is a 94 UK TT Manual, only has a slight bubble of one of the rear arches, an easy fix, underneath is rust free and it passed it last MOT first time. Plus late series UK ones have heated and electric drivers / passenger seats. Mine was a total bargain, View differnt styles and versions of both japs and UK, some are amazing, some ok, some bad and then some are awfull. If they state they have 400bhp, unless proof as a roling road dyno sheet and receipts, be aware.
