  1. Always worth doing a throttle bodie and AIV clean, and keep all connectors clean and tight.
  2. Bunny. i keep watching this, each time it gets better, was shopping in Tescos today and thinking how i could get away with it......... Excellant find:hyper:
  3. Had this before, a few years ago i was a valeter, a jag came in with the same problem. Using truck wash (good for brake dust and heavy road grime) wet the sides of the car up to about the middle of the doors, then with a steamer on warm/hot, steamed it all off. Took a couple of goes. Then had to mop the paint to match, finish it off with loads of polish. Seek advice from a decent valeters.
  4. Vijay, if its not going to move for a while, look at getting a cover, since i got my zed, i have polished it nearly every month, and washed every two weeks, its got to the point that the polish is super and no matter what dirt it gets on it, it just washes away. Each time i polish it gets 2 x coats of auto glym high resin and a top coat of mguires extra deep gloss polish. Water and bird poo slips off..........
  5. Drive it more, they like to be working. Smoke on start up could be oil lines to the tubs are seeping a bit, take it for a long drive, make her feel better......

  16. Best thing ive bought for the zed, a set of 5 small files from a local cheap shop, and a can of ambersol contact cleaner from a computer spares place, it dries instantly. Did all connections on the zed it makes a difference
  17. White zeds are not my fav, but they do look smooth, and aggresive.
  18. Im usually fast asleep at this time of the morning, but not at the mo, there is one hell of a good thunderstorm going on. Proper lighting and lots of noise. Superb stuff............... Love it:)

  20. TT UK Manual 94. The last thing on the "to do" list is my dam O2 sensors, having sorted out the following issues since the last dyno. Blocked boost jets - cleaned and fully working Det issue - running in safety, replaced det sensor now working at full boost Sticky throttle bodies - cleaned and fully working Clogged Blitz induction - cleaned and fully working PTU - replaced with Series 2 - fully working Injectors sticking/clicking - cleaned and fully working New stuff plugs, tps, fuel filter, regular oil and filter change, new gear and diff oil, clutch, all silicone hosing. The engine is superb and smooth now, but due to the O2 sensors its running lean. On the last dyno it was 272 at the wheels with 324 at the fly, will fitting new O2's and the work done, increase it much more? It certainly feels much quicker and pulls very hard.
  21. Good to see you out and about mate, spotted the zeds lights from long way away, Nice to see two flashing each other.......:hyper:
  22. Good to hear all is ok buddy................
  23. Looks good mate, whose is the silver zed in the background.
  24. I had had my wheels fixed after finding a crack in the rim, new tyres, new clutch, etc. Want honest views on a few things. 1. Ditch the spolier and skirts and go "smooth look" 2. Black out the rear quarter windows 3. Lower the rear a bit more, so that the tyre is just upto the arch. Has 18" Gewalt split rims which i love, but still want ideas on the skirts and spoliers, do i go smooth or keep as is.
  25. Fooking hell, i was thinking where in Bognor is that, i work there every other day and its not that good.
