Sorry to hear your problem mate, really lets the club spirit down and makes folks awkward, as they want to say who it it but is willing to give them a chance first. youve gone the right route, if the mods cant get any result and all else fails. then at least you have tried to resolve it. i would name, so it would help others contemplating buying goods from that member.

My starter motor is making some funny noise. as i know its about to die. A few phone calls later, just to give an idea of the vast difference on price Starter motor for a manual TT. Not refurb but a new OEM item. Local car parts suplliers £231.75 + vat Nissan direct £265. + vat. Found a place online Hillmart alternators and starters £109.17 +vat (£4.95) delivery This is not a refurbed one, but new, even has the same manuf (mitsubishi) and part number as the one i have. Bargain. Always worth getting some prices from a few places. If anyone knows of cheaper place please let me know

Total w**kers mate, really feel for you. The price of copper is through the roof at the mo. After doing a boiloer install the week, i put the old copper cylinder outside, went back in the house, and within 30 secs some smackhead grabbed the tank and ran of with it. Fookers. Hope you get it sorted mate.

If it had problem starting, it sounds like it flooded but got started, if only poping from one zorst, this might indicate that you have an injector or spark issue on the bank of the engine that side. Check your injectors are working (best way is with engine running, put a long screwdriver onto the injector and put the other end to your ear) you should be be able to hear a clicking. if not then the connector is probably mucky, clean with a small file and some contact cleaner If ok, then check plugs and their connectors. Once you have started cleaning connectors, clean any you can, as a common problem with green corrodid bits will cause loads of hassle.

An auto oil change is a good place to start, at least it will eliminate one thing. If it dosent, put up any other queries, were here to help

welcome mate, 3k is a good budget, if your not sure what your looking at with zeds, if you find one, post up can someone have a look over with you, we are a helpfull bunch, and here to help. As stated there are some total dogs out there, but some good ones too. Dont buy the first you see, unless it really stands out. Have a look at a few, and it soon becomes apparent a good one over a bad one. I got mine for a bargain £1500!!. for a UK 94 TT Manual.

Complete spare zed jap, with spare engine, Not to mention the previous engine spares, plus load of suspension bits, interiors to retrim New leather covers for my UK, new black suede panels all ready covered Brake caplier repair kits, Spare jap and uk rear bumpers to spray Wheels to refurb 18" set of gewalt drift rims to go from black to chrome 17" 5 spoke to refurb. My garage is over flowing. Its all zed stuff and fishing stuff. And the girlfriend wants to store some of her stuff too (no chance)

did an oil change on sunday, with new oem nissan filter. exactly 4lts and its on max. Sounds nice and smooth TT UK

The other day Atlast (sean) popped over to help me with my exhaust, after chatting he had ordered some new front shocks as it was thought one was knackerd. I took his zed for a drive. All i can say it was like riding a bucking bronco, really bad bordering danger to drive He has been doing them today and i returned the favour to help him. On removal of the 'bad shock' it was quite apparent that this was about as bad as it can get. No this has not been taken at a funny angle, the main strut should be totally straight, as you can see it clearly isnt. Word of warning to us all. If you suspect you have a problem with your shocks, investigate why!!!!! and sort it out. stu

Baz i take it you me coil pack connectors?? If so i know z centre do them, and possibly zedworld, but you need to re solder them in. Wont be cheap though.

Christ!! that was my hauting ground as a youngster, Used to see a girl who was a life guard at Northolt pool, when i lived in Cowley I still pop up to yeading / hayes every once in a while. If you need a rolling shell, ive got a Jap TT on a 91, has all parts, but no front bumper, or nearside wing, interior is mostly out, but i need the engine out. Pm me if interested. Stu
