  1. Great find mate. I use the maguires stuff all the time, not cheap but definatley the best. Like the idea of the polisher.......... Might save for that...
  2. My perfect job, would involve making cars go faster than they were designed too. If the cars got too much, i would get the rods out on my private carp lake to be served Stella by the gallon from one of my many pages 3 honeys who lived with me and did all my housework in a little french maid thing............................. If only.............................
  3. my kitchen is an overflow storage area of the garage, the garage is full up. Since doing work similar on my zed parts, ive killed 3 of my girlfriends hair dryers (for un gluing all the lights) Garage full up kitchen - nose panels, and a spare rear panel, plus a draw of stuff Spare bedroom - set of wheels, and spare set of interior panels to be redone Front garden - set of mongoose zorsts, and elbows. plus a dead car jack. Looks like the pikeys have been in. Need a bigger house and a good tidy up.

  8. BArry have a look at JimmyTT ride, he has the clamps i was talking about, pm him where he got them.
  9. craig when you say its missing, is that at the point of going into full boost or at full boost. Sounds like one of the plugs is messing about at full boost. i guess on idle/normal driving the plugs are fine, but giving it some feels one is maybe not firing as much as it should have you checked the ptu connections? and that all coil packs are seated nice and tight.
  10. Welcome to the club. Dont worry about not knowing much about forums, half of the folks on here, dont know much either, the other half dont know anything at all. lol Your in the right place, any questions or problems were here to help. Get some pics up of your zed.

  12. Jesus Sean thats not good. Trust me where he lives is very quiet. some little fooker from the quadrant i guess. Sean if there is any bother, call me and im there like a shot.
  13. Jaffa give these a call. I know he buys in large stocks of all jap alternators and starters, very helpfull. and knows his stuff. http://www.alternatormart.co.uk/Purchase_Page.htm i got quoted on a new starter £104 when Nissan were asking £265 for the same thin. They even gave me the part number written on the side to ensure a perfect match.
  14. sod that!!! he must have 110% trust in his design. Be a right mess if it turned out to be faulty.
  15. Martin, when i saw your place its picture postcard stuff. The lawn looks perfect. whatever you do DO NOT HOLD A ZED MEET/CAMP OVER at your place its far to nice.
  16. just been looking through ebay and found this. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1991-NISSAN-300ZX-Fairlady-BLACK_W0QQitemZ120552624729QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAutomobiles_UK?hash=item1c117f1259 serious word of warning, not from personal experience, but have friends in the motor trade. If this car sounds good it wont be. List of things the guy has been in a few problems with. Sells cars on owners behalf, only to get the price he wants but not what the owner does. sell a car with some warranty (only for it to die, just down the road) only to come up with excuse' you must have thrashed it' had mates ask him for the money for a sold car, only to find it had been stolen days before. for someone to buy a blue car, only to polish it to find a different colour underneath. has had a few car sales business, all of which have gone bust and all stock has dissappeared. only to open up a few months laters in a different county. Ive actually dealt with him when i was a police officer for chasing someone down the road with part of a wooden pallet. when he only paid them half of what he should this is one guy i would never deal with nor any car he has dealings with. Stu
  17. Quick update. Luckily for me, i have just bought a very good 2nd hand starter from a local scrap yard. From a TT manual, one owner and only done 30k miles from new. But got hit up the backside by a lorry. It arrived today, and is fully working and clean. £20...... :tt2:
  18. and here something i did to help. looks the business and its still as black today as the day i did it. Stu http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=122081&highlight=plastidip
  19. mmmmm black zed with shinny zorsts, two things that go great together. like the idea of doing up the heatshield. Same system as me, did you go full system or just back boxes.
  20. Happy birthday Paul
  21. good stuff, nice to meet folks after chatting for ages.
  22. Sean does tim go to Angmering? If so, when matt left , kids turned up in limos, and rolls royces, and bentleys then they shot down in flames when somones dad hired a helicopter and landed it on the playing fields at the front. what about a fire engine? i know someone who hires one out.
  23. what do you need, i have a tin of the primer, and 3/4 can of plastidip in black. i used it when re doing my trims, looks the nuts and is still black as first used nearly 2 years ago.
  24. I have been messing about with a photo program i got with my camera. I must admit, im useless at computer stuff, give me engines and plumbing anyday But a bit of pic editing. i have made a template of how i want my zed to look. Remove the large rear spoiler, skirts, and change the wheel colour. still not sure whether to stay with the wings west rear end or go jap. what do lot think? do it or stay as i am.
