Took his number down wrong, but never got his address. Luckily a small village, but everyone has garages............... I will continue my search

as far as i know its the sub fan, mine has only ever turned on once, this was after sitting in solid traffic for an hour. didnt even think it worked.

wish my girlfriend was so into my zed as you, all i ever get is why are you doing that, why make it faster, its cost so much. Its my car, and i had it before her, and its my money, so i will spend it on my car, not yours. Make him get tax, and give it a clean, then get the tops off on a nice sunny day, put the joy back into having it.

Firstly if you zed isnt running right, it would better to get it fixed or at least looked at. Why would you want to put a 2ltr lump in a zed, let alone have a great V6, they are a very heavy car, i dont think any 2ltr engine, unless very heavily modied would go right in the zed. some guys do skyline RB engine swaps, but its a big hit on the wallet. My opinion is to get your engine fixed, even in a standard guise they are quick, when tuned they can be insane.

Martin, after visiting you and seeing all the stuff delivered a few days earlier. To the point of it working, is not very far. You should be well chuffed in what you have completed on your own, most other people would have walked ages ago. Just make sure you have done your best, when it starts you will feel proud knowing that you did it for yourself. Plus we want a video of the start.

Found a jap video to show how to do your own illuminated rear panel, there is a few of different lengths, showing each process of the work. Might help others. will add this to the DIY rear panel pics that i did a while back.

Keep looking mate, the difference between UK and import cars, are minimal, apart from a few changes across the years. buy the best car you can afford in your price range, see a few, it soon becomes clear a good one and a bad one. there are still a few decent ones around, not many but a few. any probs we are here to help

Alan have you ever been tested for diabetes? Guy i work with, non drinker smoked a few a week no more than 10, but constantly eating, went to the gym on regular basis, very very active, turned out to be diabetic, He had been literally falling asleep without warning.

I like watching all types of films, i can watch anyting. but there is one film i simply cannot watch!! American werewolf in London, i tried watching it a number of times but for some reason i cant. I know the reason why!! The first time i ever saw it, i was about 13 years old, my dad got hold of a pirate copy. Whilst mum and dad were working, me and my sister watched it after school. scarred the sh*t out of me. For the next few days i was petrified. 2 weeks later i did my first ever carp fishing night session on my own, i got to the lake where i had fished for ages, but at night. sorted my bivvy (tent) out, got the rods out, and i was night fishing. But come nightfall it was a full moon, and to top it all there was a very low fog over the lake, then i convinced myself there was something on the island in the middle of the lake, looking at me. Every time i rubbed my eyes, i could still see a pair of red eyes staring at me acorss the lake, i wound the rods in and spent the whole night barricaded in my tent. Honestly to this day, i still cant watch the dam film. What else freaks you out????? and why

its been great on the coast, a quick pint by the sea, might get the fishing rods and BBQ out for tomorrow evening for a session on the beach. Took the dogs out earlier, and was suprised it was still light at 9.30pm

Si I agree with the french thought, when in france fishing a couple of years back, petrol station in middle of night 2 x police cars pull up, one gets fuel, other parks next to me, has a look over it, looks at me and nods "that is a very beautiful car monsuir, is it fast" i reply its "ok" shame he hadnt seen me 10 mins before, then he would have been talking a different way of my speed. Nice when we get compliments for our cars.

If you have a spare set of lights, try and do some yourself, not that hard a job. but the effect is very good. Seriously Vic, with a white zed, if you have stock wheels, ie alloy, keep calipers the same of go black, anything else would stand out and look pants.... following my new full stainless japspeed system incl decats, the original pipe work that used to connect to the exhausts ie flexi pipes that enter the system behind cats is still connected to the AIV. when starting the car you get exhaust fumes, discharging at these points. do i need to fully remove the aiv system with solenoids, or can i just undo one of the hoses in the engine bay? and cap off as a quick fix. I will be removing the whole system when i get more time. stu
