  1. Your RS mk2 is worth a fair bit in as is, but an original RS1800:w00t::w00t:. Seriously rare, and will go for that and some easy. I sold my old Mk2 RS2000, for £2k, Then i sold my old Lotus sunbeam, wish i had kept them both.... Would be worth plenty now RS1800 Mk2 is about as rare as they come, unless your can get a MK1 RS1600 Will be interesting to see if it sells.
  2. oooooooooohhhhhhhh Shinny stuff!!! never seen that before, would dress the engine up loads......
  3. good stuff mate, great you have the tubs now fully working. Glad to help you as always. Any time you need stuff doing you know where i am. Next time bring your lad and fishing rods. About time we beat your personal best carp at my secret lake that isn't fished. Zeds and fishing, chuck in a few beers. Perfect Day........... stu
  4. me too, would need just the outers for both sides, price dependant.
  5. I get a weekly email from wrecked exotics which is always good. After seeing a local car that went up in flames which i posted on here. I emailed them details, didn't think they would use them as it wasn't a usual super car, but i got mail back thanking me for the pics. http://www.wreckedexotics.com/newphotos/exotics2011jun13/57minataur_20110610_2.shtml Quite chuffed.
  6. well im only 45 mins from you (in the zed) i will assist if any come up down this neck of the woods, that you want to see. ..
  7. WTF. very lucky mate wasnt at speed, has it snapped????????????
  8. Welcome mate, your not stupid, your looking for your first zed.! Look at a few, as it becomes clear the difference of a good one and a bad one. Dont be affraid to ask questions. we are a good bunch and lots of folks will give good advice, plus some stupid banter, but its all good. Enjoy your search............ stu
  9. That is a whole load of sludge, need to get as clean as possible before going further. Remove what you can get too, rad, pipes and flush it all though with a hose. I would even remove the thermostat to help with flushing. get it to the point of running clean water, then put it all back and use some flush. make sure you get it up to temp with the cleaner in. it will probably show up why its like it is. but could also clear any blocked waterways. then start again. Dont go down the route of using antifreeze until you can be sure its clear. then drain the system again. get back to basics, start from as all new. Lots of cleaning mate.......
  10. cool black UK TT zeds are great, nice and tidy. looks well looked after.
  11. lol steve, didnt think you would show it. but ive dealt with worse. same as your bog, but way more, upto the top of the bowl. after trying to clear it, i got what is called a 'blow back' basically the pressure was too great and it exploded back out of the bowl, all over me, the bathroom, the ceiling, everywhere. One of those days, i just put my gear down and walked outisde, and hosed myself off, and smoked a complete packet of ciggies.............. The joys of being a plumber.............
  12. If steve is allowed to show that then we also need to know what time he is posting it. As it will need removing fast.......... :hurl:
  13. LOL serious power to do that, just picked up the bits as if nothing was wrong.............Gutted.........
  14. Mental sorry i saw this on your facebook mate, good on you for stopping and doing what you could, as stated before most folks would just call the services. But you didnt. It hits you in a way that cant be decribed, unless you have been put in that situation. sometimes you feel nothing, other times it will go the other way. But its good to talk.
  15. LOL Alan, glad its not just me who deals with this kind of scum, but you get used to it. I just sit back and think thank f*** im glad i live how i do............ Then have a good wash in dettol..................
  16. What a great idea!!! build loads of garage's and put a few bedrooms on them. No worries with vehicle crime as everyone has the same interest. Just a petrolhead village.... Wheres my lottery ticket.........??
  17. makes you wonder how small earth is amongst all of this. i read a report a while back that put it all in context. Imagine earth as a grain of rice, now put that grain in a 100 acre field, thats how big space is. Awesome stuff......
  18. jesus!!! looking at stock wheels in those rear arches, they are huge................ Looks lovely and an animal
  19. Wow to get that kind of damage on the inner face of the wheel, must have cranked the wheel on super tight, even to get the face to sit flush.
  20. Graham is it a pain in the backside to change?? reason being i have a brand new OEM belt still in packet that Uno gave me. The zed has only done 15k since the last belt changed by zedworld, but it was 3 years ago. i know its recommended to change at 60k intervals, but what about in a time / years basis
  21. cool. which kit is it, i want one..............
  22. It wasnt this one was it, spotted by Tankzx on route to mine. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=150395
  23. Bonkers, looks great fun..............really funny:thumbup1::thumbup1:
  24. good to see its being fixed. ive been doing exactly the same on mine. I removed my skirts to find a total mess, what started as a small 2" rust hole, soon developed from the wheel arch to the drivers door. All cut out now and replaced. just a few more bits to sort. If a zed can be saved, then save it. Far to many being just scrapped for these reasons.
  25. Cool find, ive been to Oradour-sur-Glane in France, when visiting my mates carp lakes. Very eeiry place, no noise, people, nothing, just stopped in time. Bullet holes all over the place, cars, shops and houses and even on a pram in the street. Makes you wonder how bad it was..........................
