Wasn't me at 4am, tucked up by then :D I have seen another Silver Zed parked up off the main road towards hoddesdon, never seen it out though. Just a thought, if we're all going to the TBDEV meet around the same time maybe we should go down together?

I'm at my g/f's every other weekend in Broxborne and I've only ever seen Chris at the TBDEV meet! And I must have just missed you to as I was on the high road between 7:15 and 7:30! If we'd have all bumped into each other may have had to stop for a mini meet!

Checked my fire wall it's not that. Thing is I can view YouTube vids embeded on other sites, just not on the actual YouTube site!

Don't wanna jinx it. So far, everytime I've tried I've had a problem, including Car not starting (duff bat) Drivers Window refusing to go up (in the pi**ing down rain!) Car Overheating One time I made it in the Zed it wasn't washed but the turnout was good. So let's just say I'm not planning on going, but if I happen to out and about Sunday morning we'll see where the road takes me! :D:D

Thinking of getting some K-Sports myself, are they a straight swap? Also, what the suspension like, didn't realise they did a kit for the Z but I'm loving that Orange!:bow:

Every time I try to watch a video on Youtube I get the message "You either have Javascript turned off or are using an older version...." etc etc. Thing is I definatley have Java on and I've updated to the latest version, but it still won't work! Have tried with both IE and Firefox, anyone had this before or can suggest a fix?

Think they gave you the wrong one then mate. I had the Bosch one I bought from there replaced a month or so ago and it's fine. There was a problem with it not being listed on their new parts system, but they fixed it when they ordered mine. Was a Bosch one, silver and blue.

And what were you doing at Max Power Live eh :nono::tongue::tongue: Carisma 911 if I'm not mistaken. Didn't think it was a patch on the TVR, but was apparantly Jamie Shaw's own car so he did it how he wanted it as he was keeping it.

Halijeuah! :dance::dance::dance: Took the door apart again, and realised I'd pulled the window off the runners. First job was to get that back on, then after that fiddled about with the relay/circuit board thing, nothing, so started putting it all back together and once I'd plugged the switch back in it worked! I'm taking all the credit but no idea what I did. So thanks again for all the help, no way I'd have known where to look otherwise. Just off to find a new relay now :D

Good stuff, looks like the relay is the problem, wish I'd read that before unbolting the motor from the door! Looked on the Aus 300zx forum as well and seems a common problem with the solder joints. On my way round my mates for round two, will let you know how it goes! Thanks again for all the replies!

Cheers guys, have put the panel back on now as it was dark and couldn't see a thing. Spent 2 hours dicking about with it in the rain am severly pi**ed off now, such a stupid thing as well. Wouldn't have been so bad if it was stuck closed! Will give it a go in the morning, have taped it up with bin liners and left it on a mates drive for now. Wiring up the motor directly, how exactly would I do that. Which two wires across what battery? Bit confused :confused:

I need urgent help!!!! My driver side window is stuck completely down! When I press the switch I just hear a click nothing else. Need to get it up pronto as it's pi**ing down and getting dark!

Yes mate, the Goodridge ones don't have the correct locators. This is a problem I currently have with mine (not Goodridge lines but braided all the same), I believe Dan at DTA is working on a set with the correct locators and connectors.

I found that with all the insurance companies I called tbh, quotes for a standard gtr compared to the Zed were ridiculous.

There were 3 of us there mate, but we left around 1ish as people started to drift off. Will have to catch you next time!

Drive past it all the time, was slightly tempted to have a look but will steer well clear now.

Also had some big jobs done by Scott, wouldn't hesitate to recommend him, as well as being an ace mechanic and knowing Zeds inside out he's a really nice guy.

Got loads of viewers in the states, but was universaly slated.
