  1. I'm gonna try and make this
  2. I have DBA's on mine and can confirm they are excellent, look the nuts as well. Went for Mintex Pads though which squeel like a b*tch. May look into changing those....
  3. You learn something new every day! :D Yep I have cornering lights, which I've never (noticed before but now think are amazing) but I'm sure there's only one bulb in the fog unit. I'll have another look at the weekend and try and get some pics up.
  4. Need a little clarification here. I was all set for changing my side lights, which I thought were 501's in the fog light. However, when I looked at the fogs, there's just 1 bulb which appears to be both fog and side. Thought I was going made, so checked the indicator housing and there's one bulb for the indicator, and another which I've never seen on! WTF!?!?!?! Its a 94 Jap spec car. Am I right in thinking that UK cars have the side lights in the indicator housing, and Jap spec with the fog? So there should be 2 bulbs in my fog and only the indicator in the indicator housing. To add to my confusion, the fog light is just soldered to the wire and has a white braided cover on the wire, so not even sure how I'd change this.
  5. Section 5 Public Order Offence. You could get nicked if the T-Shirt was suitably offensive, but even Police Officers have a sense of humour.
  6. Well done Lewis!!!! :dance::dance::dance::dance:

And how do you tell the elephant has been in the fridge?.................. Footprints in the butter
  8. Thanks for the suggestions. Have checked the battery connection, tightened up a bit for good measure but no obvious problems. Not the alternator either. I've managed to narrow it down a bit. The problem only happens after about 1 hour of driving, sometimes not at all, but it started tonight as I was pulling up home. Pressed the brake pedal, power steering went light. While I was sitting there with the car running, I noticed that when I pressed the brake, the interior lights and headlights flickered slightly. What would be causing this? As I said not happening all the time. Very confused at the moment....
  9. Bit of a weird electrical problem this, bear with me! Couple of days ago I noticed that when I braked the power steering would go all floaty, and the HICAS light would flicker (normally stays on, known problem). Then the other day, I noticed that it blinked with the ABS light as well, but only when braking. Today the problem is alot worse, but I think it's electrical. It seems that when ever I increase the load on the electrical system, the ABS and HICAS lights come on along with the power steering goes light. It was so bad today the car did it even when indicating (was driving at night with lights on). Tonight, when the HICAS and ABS lights were on the car also spluttered like I was taking my foot off the accelerator, even though I was at a constant speed. Reading other posts I'm thinking it could be the alternator, although car started fine. Any suggestions?
  10. And a date and time change :) This makes it closer to me so I should be able to come along, Hertfordshire one always had a good turn out.
  11. Also a shame they showed a clip from totally the wrong film....
  12. I hate it when someone asks a question and the thread is left unanswered, so....... :) Turned out to be 5 leaks  Two major (engine intake pipe, MAF intake pipe) and three smaller ones. All sorted now, car back to peak health :):)
  13. I absolutley loved it. It's the best film I've seen in years, the cinematography, the music, all perfect. And the performances from both Bale and Ledger were some of the best. I won't admit to how many times I've now seen it, but suffice to say I'm off to the IMAX at the end of the month to see it in all it's wide screen glory :)
  14. Hope not:wack: But the fact it just sits at zero while the engine's running makes me think there's a lack of a vacuum, so hoping it's just a pipe off/crack. Will have a look at the sensor today.
  15. Yeah was thinking boost leak, would explain the rough idle. Haven't taken any pipes off recently, will check the temp senders. Just tried resetting the ECU, boost gauge still stuck on 0 but now just rough idle under 1000rpm
  16. Haveing a problem with the car whilst idling. Yesterday it seemed to be hunting around when stopped at traffic lights, would drop to 750rpm then edge up to 900ish. Was the same today, so went to get some V-power. After getting back in the car, I noticed the boost gauge was at 0 on idle, and wasn't moving at all whislt driving. Dropped back down when I switched the engine off. It now seems to be revving at 1500rpm whislt at idle. Any ideas on what the problem could be????
  17. Glad to hear it's getting sorted mate. See it everytime I go to Nexus and have to say it's a lovely looking car. Was sat outside your house a couple of weeks ago waiting for Scott to pick me up and couldn't help but stare. Can't wait to see it running.
  18. I asked him yesterday, he said as soon as he remebers where he put it :D Saw your block, didn't have the plenum on at the time though. Looks sweet.
  19. Bit out of the way but I know Scott at Nexus Performance in Southend will take a car for an MOT and he specialises in Zed's. Works on quite a few people's on here. Where about's in SE London are you mate? I live in Catford.
  20. Not seen this before, not sure about the rear valance looks a bit too subtle. Liking the side skirts as well. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/455654.htm
  21. But at least it's coming along now. Your engines being done by Scott now isn't it? I'll be down there in two weeks I'll say hello to it for ya! Won't be long now mate!
  22. Went passed in the outside lane, flashed me with your hazards, I flashed back in silver zed?
  23. Too true, I didn't even expect the place to have them, actually asked for S0-3's and the guy said they had both. They do deal with alot of Porsche's and other high end cars.
  24. Well, after a few brown trouser moments in the rain it was time for some new tyre's :nana2: Went for a full set as the fronts were badly worn on the inside, and after much searching decided decided to go with markzx's advice and get some S02's. They were expensive (but cheaper than T1-R's for some reason), but the difference is amazing, so much quieter on the motorway and the car actually feels more stable when cornering. Just shows how important tyre choice is! Attached a couple of pics for any one interested in big black rubber things :D
