  1. Thanks for the help it was a fuse, which I've now changed.
  2. Ok, had a play and if I have the indicators on, then try and switch the hazards on the indicators stop working. WTF?
  3. Ok why is it never easy to do anything with this car?!?! Just changed my side repaeaters from some clear ones, and switched my hazards on to check they worked. The Passanger side one wasn't working, then all of a sudden all the indicators stopped working. Now none of them work with the hazard switch (not even the green ones on the dash) and the pass side one doesn't work with turn signal or alarm. The rest work fine. HELP!!!!
  4. It's already tied. He just lifts up his trouser leg. Got me the first time, but easy to spot on the replay.
  5. Excellent thank you very much!
  6. Ah, just engaged my brain and yeah it's not gonna hold it is it :smash: Been using it for a while but obviously with the old struts. They don't hold the boot open but they're obviously taking the weight arn't they!!!! This is why it's good to think things through!! Like the time I bought a fridge without measuring the gap it was going into! World of trouble that. Thanks for spotting the obvious for me! I owe you both a drink for saving me the brain damage :duffer:
  7. Any idea what size spanner? Someone has nicked most of mine  I've got a spare bonnet stay in a cardboard tube to prop it up, but yeah I'll be getting help don't fancy another smack on the headm had enough over the last year :p
  8. How have other people removed these? I have a pair ready to go on but I'm a bit stumped in removing the old ones as it looks rather tight for a spanner. Do they just unscrew? Cheers
  9. Think my head unit is buggered. Switched the car on and it came up with "Loading" while it read the CD (had MP3's on it so takes a moment). After a while it still did nothing, so tried pressing eject, came up with eject on the screen but did nothing, so switched to the Radio, which after about 5 seconds went quiet, so neither are working!!! Tried resetting, even disconected the whole thing today but when I plugged it back in it still says "Eject" on the screen for the cd player. Any one had a similar experience with an Alpine? It's about 3 years old so surprised if it's gone already. Any advice?
  10. Bit of T-Cut it'll buff right out  Why the hell did the guy who owns it lend it too em!!!!?????!!?!?!? I wouldn't even loan my Z out let alone if I owned an Enzo. Guy's a complete tool he clearly didn't have a clue what he was doing.
  11. There's as many arguments and scientists against the idea of global warming as there are for it, they just don't get as much media attention.
  12. Well I'm now nearly £700 lighter after having to replace the gearbox on my Zed. Started making a whining noise a while ago which progressively got louder and then developed a rattle, car sounded like a milkfloat! Took it to the garage with an idea it may have been the lay shaft bearig, turns out the prop had fouled the bush at the back of the box and caused it too slowley leak the gearbox oil all over the road. Which meant it was empty and I actually managed to melt first and second! Big learning point there, alway check your gearbox oil. My fault I know but I have only had it a year. Any way had a replacemet box fitted and coughed up the cash, was feeling preety sh*t about the whole situation and OH MY GOD drove the car home! What a difference! Car pulls so much more strongly now in first too gears it's amazing. And twatting an E55 AMG away from the lights only broadened my smile  Sounds so much quieter now I reckon the problem was probably there whenI bought it. So although I may be living like a hermit for a while I'd say it's a fair trade off.
  13. I've just emailed him to ask if the car includes a briefcase containing £16000. If it does then I might be interested :-)
  14. He's not forgetting he's testing. They are hugely intelligent, and very cheeky!!!! We thought ours might be deaf for a while coz he was choosing when to listen and then when not to! There are a lot of techniques to stop the "mouthing" but the one that worked for me is "scruff shaking". When they do something wrong, hold them by the scruff of the neck and pull their head off your hand/arm etc. Not too hard but don't be afraid of being forceful, it won't hurt them at all, we've all seem mothers carry thier pups like this. Say the word "No" at the same time to re-inforce it as a negative. Have a search for Akita training on the net there's some really good info out there.

Well keep your eye out for a Silver Jap Spec TT with Works Meister rims and fook off single exit exhaust  That'll be me
  16. I've got a 5 month old Akita/Rottweiler cross. Absolutley bloody huge!! He's so strong I'll be riding him to work soon, lovely dogs though. Most important thing with Akita's is training. Start from day one as they will test you constantly, and with these dog's it's all about respect, which you have to earn from them. I'd definatly advise having a look round the net for info about them (did you know Japanese Shoguns used them to hunt bears!!!!!) They are excellent gaurd dogs as well. Good luck mate I'm sure you'll have fun, if I can be of any help lemmie know.

Right well I'm definatly gonna pop down to this in the Z as the missus has to MOT her car this weekend so I'll be at hers. Anyone else going?

Drove past this the other weekend, saw the Fuel logo and made my girlfriend go round again to check it out! Had a couple of nice cars parked infront. What type of store is it ie what are you flogging in there?
  19. OK done a bit of searching on this but haven't really got the answer. The Z has started making a whining noise when I accelerate, in all gears but really noticeable in 1st and 2nd. Whilst idling and in neutral it sounds very "rattley" but the noise stops once I put my foot on the clutch. Also after driving in third for a while on country roads (accelerating/decelerating) it sounds REALLY crap whining and rattling, but stops if I change down/up. Does this in fourth as well only really noticed in third. After hunting around I think it's something to do with the gearbox hence the noise dissapearing with my foot on the clutch. It's defo not the engine. I've found a few other threads with similar symptoms as me and the advice has been that it's more of an annoyance than a problem, as in needs attention but not this second. Don't want to damage the car but funds are low right now so being able to wait a while would be excellent. Only drive about 60 miles a week. And on that note, as I'm in South East London am I right to assume The Zen Garage is the closest place to me. Would a regular Mechanic be able to sort the gearbox, I have a good one but doubt he's seen a Zed in his life! First problem I had with the car so I appreciate any help I can get.
  20. Oi! Some of us like it down 'ere

  24. Only one question after watching it. WHY!?!?!?
