Dunlop SP Sport - Anyone run on these?
Well now I feel crappy for paying well over the odds and on top of that you've left me hanging as well! :p Come on, where would I find them for less than £700 fitted?

Dunlop SP Sport - Anyone run on these?
I have Michelin Pilot sport on mine and you are right, they are incredible tyres. Mine were less than £900, fitted, which I thought was a pretty good deal.

hamilton petition
I was there in Belgium for the race and was gutted to go from euphoria after witnessing and awesome last three laps and a Hamilton win, to finding out (whilst in the bar afterwards) that he had been stripped of the win. I did feel a bit sorry for Kimi, because he drove a great race up until the end and a DNF didn't quite seem like justice.

Two potentially big problems
Thanks guys, it's appreciated. I really need to think this one over now.

Two potentially big problems
Thanks for the help. I haven't had decats, or played with the boost. Looks like it's just age and wear and tear and I need to start saving some serious wonga. :headvswal Also begs the question: what else should I get done while the engine's out???

Two potentially big problems
I did a driving day in my zed on Friday - I will post some vids of it once I get hold of them off my mate. In the meantime, I need some help with a couple of things  1) I'm pretty sure my clutch has had it. It seems most noticeable in 4th gear. If I plant my foot, the revs climb nicely, but the speed doesn't really pick up at all. I can still pull away in 1st ok, but it's getting more and more smelly. What's going to be involved in getting the clutch replaced (work and rough cost) and have people got advice on what to go for? 2) I noticed my zed has started smoking, but only out of the left exhaust. This seems to only really be on pulling away and a little bit on hard acceleration, but nothing like the cloud that appears when I start off. It got worse as the day went on  I've posted a video on youtube of it if it helps...

Septembers meet
Hi Nick, I'm interested in attending a meet in Sept. Finally got my car back a little while ago after best part of a year without it, so it's about time I hauled my arse to a meet. Simon.

The bottom has fallen out my world!
Neil, sorry to hear what must be devastating news for you. I'm sure you are all shocked and probably pretty scared right now. I'm know I speak for everyone here when I say I'll be thinking of you and your family and wishing you the best. It's hard to read a post like yours and not feel empathy. The great thing about this club is that there are so many people here who genuinely do care. As vijay said, everyone's here if you need to unload. A friend of mine had a brain tumour and I remember how hard it hit him. I'm happy to say that he made an incredible recovery and is now the same sarcastic, annoying git he was before. I really hope there's some good news for Abigail on its way too. Simon.

Battery box???
My UK zed had one, but it didn't fit over the battery I have now, so it's currently sat in the shed.

Top Gear, Series 11, Episode 6
It is very, very scripted now. Especially the bits where they are sitting around discussing cars. Whenever one of them is talking, the other two are busy beavering away reading their scripts to see what their next line is whilst half pretending to pay attention to who is talking. It's like a script reading aution or something. We'll probably see Top Gear the movie soon. Watch this space...

Can't decide....Z jaunt to France again?
Nice! I'm doing exactly the same thing on Sun. Hopefully going to get some nice pics of the zed too. Getting the ferry from Portsmouth to Caen and then driving south through France. It's going to be awesome!!!

Grey zed in North Sydney
Looked pretty stock - would have been at about 12pm, heading from Miller St. towards Walker St. I heard a rumble that could only have been one thing, looked around and there it was!

Air Con issue
Not yet, I suppose that really should be my first port of call... I just wondered if that can actually cause an issue, or if I was fishing.

Air Con issue
My car went in for an MOT today. It passed (phew), but on driving back I switched on the aircon and was promptly blasted with hot air. It was working fine on the way TO the test centre. The only strange thing I notice is that it looks like they disconnected the battery. Not sure why they would need to do this, but the temp on aircon was showing 10 degrees (default) and time was wrong. Anyone got any ideas whether this might be the cause, or what else might be? In this weather I'm getting a serious case of Betty Swollocks.

Lorenzo Highside save
That was an awesome save!!! I wonder how much of that was luck and how much was judgment - he was riding a bucking bronco there! Did you see the lowside save from Colin Edwards the other week in quali? Someone else did it in the race too, think it was Hayden.

what make tyres
I'd definitely recommend the Michelin Pilot Sports. Recently got them on mine and they are very grippy and have a consistent feel to them under load (less surprises) and are pretty hard wearing compared to many I believe.

Got my Wii
I wouldn't be surprised if 'Wii arm' wasn't a recognised medical condition by now. Me and my mates get far too competitive over the tennis and I've been hit twice now by over zealous Wii users. Once in boxing and once in tennis. The tennis one was the worst, because at least in the boxing you expect it.

dumbass questions, that you darent ask
Have you seen what's in that sh1t??? Mine says "Do not dilute, swallow or swig from the bottle". I would definitely say nay, nay and thrice nay.

targa and door rubbers
Yup, but U-shaped targa rubbers that go around the roof are still about 200 quid a side. Ouch!

265x35x18 tyres
Same here.

Snowboarding.
Wrist guards are a seriously good idea. I know enough people who have broken or busted their wrists. Went with a mate the other week and he's much more experienced than me and he still ended up with a nicely swollen wrist.
