Back on the road :)
Big thanks to Silverbullet for coming over and working with me today on my ZED! Great to have someone with the tools and knowledge around - Props to Mark. Flew through MOT... and have been driving her the last couple hours. She's back! and more importantly "legal" this time around :) :balloon: Stuck some Werk alloys I had in the garage to get through MOT... like them.

Insurance on Highly modified Zeds.. £775 reasonable?
Forgot to Mention... I also have an IN10 ( 6 points ) - for driving my Skyline without Insurance, Tax, MOT etc. back from a BBQ at our local pub... luckily I blew under the limit or I would have been really fooked. So guess that + only having a license for 3 years makes up the extra few quid.

Insurance on Highly modified Zeds.. £775 reasonable?
Getting my Zed back on the road. Tommorow :) :) :) Called Adrian Flux and got qouted £775 for 5,000 miles with every mod listed. - a hell a lot better than the £3000 I was qouted 3 years ago. ( which was why it's been SORN since then ) 41 years old. 3 years UK license and 3 years no claims. sound about right?

Your typical work day
2:00 a.m. finish work load from Tuesday. 7:30 a.m. alarms goes off... pretend to ignore it. 8:30 a.m. at Work... keep thinking a bacon roll from from the Pasty shop would make me feel better. 9:00 - 5:30 disappear in a blur of manically trying to deliver on projects that are a couple days late. Damage Limitation management etc. 5:30 - 8:00 Quiet in the office as all the "employees" who can't be fooked to work more than 9-5 f*c& off. Get the most done in the whole day. 9:00 - 11:00 p.m. will probably work from home. 11:00 - 1:00 a.m. tonight. Packing the Truck with selection of snowboards for 10 days in the 3-Valleys.. :) Why isn't there a "two fingers in the air" .gif?

Current Car Prices in Japan - imports
Heya, I was actually thinking about importing one myself. Maybe just for the thrill of showing up to the docks in Southampton after months of waiting in anticipation... ...only to find a car with no oil in it, or a completely burned out clutch, or a dead tire, or there was the one that blew a piston at Winchester services! ( I remember those particular cars all too well! ) But... As nice as they look - don't think I could do a late model now that I see the prices! Suddenly it becomes a big investment versus a no brainer bringing a £3 - £4K Zed over to drive for a year or so before passing on. --- so my question really was: is it worth it with the current exchange rate? Especially when there seem to be so many decent Zeds coming up in the UK at that same price range? --

Current Car Prices in Japan - imports
Well that answers that question! I didn't realise they were still carrying so much price. i wasn't thinking about bringing it over for a sale.. more to drive for a year or two, at least.. Very sweet looking ride though. The seats look great.

Current Car Prices in Japan - imports
I was looking at an auction site in Japan last night as I was thinking that it would be fun to buy a late model Zed. I've imported over 10 before... but that was over 5 years ago. Was I reading it wrong, or are prices pretty darn high? Rightfully so! ;) especially on the 1998, 99 Specs etc. What's the verdict? just cheaper, easier to find a good one over here?

Well, although not nearly as comfortable as a Zed.. a few of those listed are on the "dream car" if I win gazillions in the lottery :) Damn that Tomasso looks sweet !!! Ztech recommendations
very, very funny :) oh well, sure seems to be tricky proposition; that being running a Zed Tuning shop... so many get in over their heads and then it all seems to go wrong.

Ztech recommendations
damn. that sucks. After the previous (unmentionable) guy really screwed up, Chris was working really hard to turn things around. Went out of his way to correct some of the previous shenanigans. I always said I'd put in a good word and just thought about it today. I had a very good experience with Ztech. Quality work carried out at a very good price in 2008.

I Haven't heard anyone mention ZTech in a while. Although he inherited a complete mess, Chris impressed me as being very honest and sincere guy who would make a good name of it. Any props for him?:thumbup1:

BA Strikers lose perks :(
Not happy with your job? Quit and get a new one. Duh. Try striking it in the "real" world or any company I've ever worked at. You'd have kept us laughing for the year. Would have been the funniest thing we've heard or seen in the last decade. Take the free flights/perks away from the Children, Forever.

Any Auction facility on this site?
On another site i'm on. There is a facility to set up auctions... just wondering if the functionality exists here?
