Japfest anyone?
I'll bring my Zed to it's first 'fest.... I'm up for track sessions also. if there aren't as many cars, or interested Track people this year... would it be good to organise a combo even with Club300zx... or would that be blasphemy ???

Fuel costs petition
Signed it... but don't think it will do a bit of good. I'm voting with my feet and going from 4 cars down to 1.5 this year. fact. sucks,,, but it's the only way to get away from CarTax, Gas Tax, Insurance hikes, etc..

30 Inch Alloys.. what do you guys think?
315/30 R30 114V M+S Just looked them up and would set you back $7,900 +Tax to put them on your Saxo... Scorpion Zero 30 Inch Tires Pirelli Scorpion Zero Asimmetrico The Pirelli Scorpion Zero Asimmetrico adds a new twist to the Performance Street Truck market. This is an all-season tire that combines the handling and control of a performance tire yet built for a light truck application. The asymmetrical tread design incorporates more grooves and sipes on the inside shoulder to provide excellent wet traction while the outside shoulder uses larger tread blocks to improve cornering traction. Pirelli's unique Z-shaped tread blocks are used to add the extra grip on the dry roads. The Scorpion Zero Asimmetrico also uses a solid center rib to promote low noise, high speed stability, and better stopping power. To finish it off, four wide circumferential grooves combined with inside shoulder channels quickly evacuate water and reduce hydroplaning to give you safety and piece of mind. Size Price 315/30 30 $ 1975.00

new career
I went in at 18. (in the U.S.) Newark New Jersey for Basic training... The most accurate movie I saw was Full Metal Jacket. Was a mind-blowing 8 weeks.. straight out of reality and into some messed up Kubrick vs. Cronenberg movie. took me a few weeks of being back home before I stopped constantly watching my back. Having said that... it was one of the greatest experiences of my life!!! :) miss it. Don't do it unless you get the Military Job you want. Full Stop. Once you get past Basic Training + advance training... you are in the Fraternity and things get pretty damned relaxed. It's a great way of life / extremely good for you, in general. From what I remember - The guys who struggled the most, were the older ones as the physical demands + tons of sleep deprivation favoured us young lads. I say "go For it!" 100% or you will always regret not doing it. But.. keep your options open. i.e. don't sign up for longer for a bigger signing bonus.... just in case.

multi car insurance
Hey Dan, I was just thinking about this today. Wife and I have 4 cars we are insuring all at £700 - £900 each!! and we are in our 40's. getting freakin rediculous that we've been doing this for 5 years now. I've got my Zed with you guys. PM me with a number to reach you on... as I'm either going to get something sorted or sell a couple cars!

Toyo Proxes R888's + ADVAN AVS T7's = yum.
took advantage of the warmer day today and stuck them on. Wasn't sure for first 10 minutes or so, but starting to grow on me. REally liking the way the 225's feel on the front... Will see about grip at some point, but for now - sold on the size. Turn effortlessly. ..will hold off sticking the Toyo R888's on until Spring time.

Cats drunk Antifreeze

Toyo Proxes R888's + ADVAN AVS T7's = yum.
Got Alloys :) Now the fronts have 225 rubber on them and rears 265... both with about 4M+ tread. so seams a shame to just bin the rubber. What will my 300 drive like with these? I'm used to running 245's all the way around. **also fronts 18x8J rears 18x9J... these r888's going to fit straight on when i decide to track??

Toyo Proxes R888's + ADVAN AVS T7's = yum.
track only, probably. guy I bought them from got'm with the RX7 he'd bought. Hated them. T hey didn't really come into their own until the rubber warmed up and he said "noisy as hell"... not to mention a pertty rough ride. Look good for about 3 or 4 track days. Maybe a meet in there somewhere...

550cc plus injector needed within the week...
I talked to them about this and they said they are 100% clean and put individually in shrink wrap. Also come with Flow test results for each injector.. they were saying absolutely no need to get re-tested/cleaned. I'll do it, if I should... but it will be another £150... :( which I know is better than a problem shortly down the road! but still.. What's the verdict!?

550cc plus injector needed within the week...
How come they only charge and extra $20 for '90 - '94 application adaptors? ..are they throwing it in as you are already spending $930??? or am I just getting a basic kit; whereas yours is the la creme deluxe?

550cc plus injector needed within the week...
other than a fleeting panic that Silverbullet will be getting pissed off with me if I didn't sort a solution. the past 5 days... well, can't say my mind was entirely focused on fueling issues! ;) 1st day back and quickly ordered. the $40 for the adapter stuff seemed insignificant.... sorry I missed the offer! Yours any different to what I just ordered?? , Villajoyosa, Spain -yesterday.... 23 degrees of Sunshine... as apposed to some of that great British weather we had today!

550cc plus injector needed within the week...
740's it is. almost done. Z1 Motorsports then? $950? http://www.z1motorsports.com/product_info.php?cPath=6_17&products_id=3088&osCsid=3ea51e724a175128edc1222aa46c3ebe Do you get hit with Import duty once they arrive to the UK?

550cc plus injector needed within the week...
Thanks Jimmer, will def consider these; especially with the experience you've had. like the fact that they are 550's ( at $600 ). Not convinced 740's are really that necessary. Are 550's theoretically good for 550 at the fly or wheels?

550cc plus injector needed within the week...
what do you think of these JECS? http://www.conceptzperformance.com/Cart/description.php?II=4065&Car_Type=300&UID=2010110412481678.86.223.171 i like the 650's and the price is going to be hard to beat for new injectors... that seem to be quality enough

550cc plus injector needed within the week...
I've seen the SARDS and can see they are a couple hundred quid cheaper than Nismos' lets say. but are they also potentially a couple hundred quid less quality also? no one had ever recommended SARD's to me before... going to cost me a good £100 to send a used set to be flow tested.. so starting to think new ones are just the safest option... or it is best to get even new ones cleaned tested for a high output engine ( just to make sure you know what each injector is putting out?) *had a compression test done on cyclinders yesterday and all within about 5% of each other.. so don't mind sticking 740's on along with all the other fuelling upgrades being done right now and then going for a RR stress test :)
