550cc plus injector needed within the week...
Not looking like a decent set of 2nd handers around. had my existing 450cc injectors flow tested and wasn't happy {ignore my rides section... was told I had 740's by seller, but just wasn't the case}. if i don't find a good used set Tuesday, I am going to bite the bullet and buy a set of new ones. Any suggestions on where, why and for how much I should and probably will be looking at? I've got a pre '94 car.... so I may have to buy a rail also... depending on which way I go. I prefer 650cc's. am being pushed to get 740's,, but would look at 550's Regardless of cost, I'm going to have to order some by tuesday... so any advice, insight is much appreciated.

Car Stalled after burnouts
I've lit up my tires a few times in my NSX... didn't really seem that harsh on the car.. I think we've either got a few Accountants on the forum or a case of Pots calling the kettles black :) ...having said that, the length of the burn-out and using the brakes heavily - think you are begging for something to go "Pop!"

ENGLAND! why do put ourselves through it!
uhh... I wonder why? So, how much you putting down then? £2, £10, £30, £50?, £0 ?

ENGLAND! why do put ourselves through it!
People will blame the coach, players will blame the formation, the fans etc. reality is that there was a collective Choke on the pitch yesterday. There was no hussle, no pass & go.. no heart (other than frustration) on the England side. I agree with a few of you and was thinking the same thing last night. Have experienced the same results in my company. Over the years people renegotiate, renegotiate, renegotiate.. at every big result and even as a company/Team it feels right at the time... What you end up with, though, is a bunch of over-paid underperforming employees/atheletes. They still think they are better than they are; think the world/company owe them for past glory, put in only the mandatory minimum effort & blame everything else for their shortcomings etc. etc. OK.. maybe not 100% of them, but at least 80%. I handed notice in on premises, changed the commission structure to include thresholds (effectively cutting pay by 10%) and gave everyone 3 month targets to hit or find another job :) before we move premises- emotionally it was hard to do, but the results are already showing. Someone needs to figuer out a way to get equally if not more harsh with these players!

Annoying e-bay sniper tip
I've always bid in the last 10 seconds and have probably saved myself £100's and £100's of pounds doing so. Thanks for the Warning!! will be bidding in the last 20 seconds now :)

Le Mans 2010 this weekend.
well, in lastminute.com fashion i booked chunnel tickets leaving Friday a.m. and coming back Monday p.m. to go to Le Mans for the weekend. going to pick up a tent tonight and winging it from there. It isn't looking too promising on the "getting a campsite arranged/booked at this late date" front. Any suggestions, hook-ups, anyone going?

Love this pic of a silver Zed
The Ground deosn't look like an outdoor surface ... ? studio shot against a green screen backdrop? polished/chromed calipers... very bling! * But to answer your Question. The city in the background is Chicago

False Advertising.. injectors
I was told that 740's were on my car when I got it. Found out today I have 450's. explains why the 500+ ( on an honest Rolling Road !) was proving very illusive. 650's on the cards now.. could be a very good year :)

Props to Ryan at 2Bartuning.com - ECU Specialist
Since we usually hear from the complaints dept, I thought I'd give a bit Thanks and high recommendation to Ryan at 2Bartuning.com He came by my place today for a CSI Miami operation on my MOTEC system. Took a lot longer than we expected, but in end figured out that Owens Developments didn't changed a gear change setting when they took it off Full-Throttle gear change. Overfueling like crazy at gear change and caused me to miss JapFest!! :( It's driving like a dream now. :) Thank you Ryan!! ( and also to SilverBullet for a similiarly Top-Class mobile mechanic experience 2 weeks ago! ) If you ever have any ECU questions, or an after market set-up, he's got all the software all on his laptop and knows his Stuff. A very reasonable £75 for a call out to my house and 90 minutes worth of specialist work.

cost of car batteries...
jeez... it's been about 4 years since I bought a car battery. Seem to have gone from £45-£50 to £90 now. anyone got a decent used one knocking about? or any place to get better deals? ( imaging shipping is the killer ) *o.k. found some 068's for more like £70.. guess you just have to pay the bill and keep it charged up this time!

Exhange Rate???
oops... read it wrong way around.. you want to pay her! i.e. Turn Pounds into dollars. Worst day in 10, 15 years. I'd do it at the last possible moment... unless she starts to question "is this guy ever going to pay me?" in which case,,, better pay her a.s.a.p. and take the hit!

Exhange Rate???
I just brought over money from the US on Wednesday for a property purchase. Wish I would have waited until Friday as I would have got £1000's more :( anyway. Now is the time. As soon as the conservatives gain power to enact a massive need for austerity measures the global markets with start to get confidence that England isn't on a collision course with "greece scenario" let's say. I'm expecting to see a graduall increase in the pound over the next year if Cameron looks as if he's in control of policy. Anyway I think Friday was at least one of the prime days in the last decade to put dollars into pounds. on a side note.. Although Barclays "claimed" a £6 fee to handle an international transfer they gave me a f ck ed up rate and tried to pocket £1,600 above the exchange rate ont the day !!!!!!! I ranted and raved all day yesterday... threatened to take them to Court, initiate a Fair Trade investigation etc.. they escalated it to managers and they gave back £1,300 of it. *******s. Anyway... I paid £300 for Barclays to push a few buttons so that I could have my money.

Back on the road :)
I'm missing 3 of the 4 caps! You're looking at the one Cap I have. More importantly one of the wheels ( Lip ) has a bad dent in it from a icey sideways slide into the curb in 2005. have been in garage since... I can take better pic's if you like, but was saying to SilverBullet that I recon I'd only get £150 or so on ebay for the Alloys only - due to the fact one of the alloys is pretty damaged. Though it seemed to drive fine today. The tires are new, but going to transfer them over to my OZ ultraleggeras in the next few weeks... *few years ago I tried pretty hard to find a replacement wheel / or better yet just the lip ( even in Japan ) but came up nil. still so keen? :)
