Thick Question
Indeed they do! The Petrol Pump Icon should glow orange when very very low....it's none to bright on mine, TBH, so it might be a job to see in daylight. Phil

Win XP SP2, Perl and 401.3 Unauthorized
Gio, We know this already but here states: "Just to mention for the record: the reason to switch from the ActiveState Perl to the Cygwin Perl was that the Active's "fork" stoped working after I installed the SP2 for XP." Phil.

NZR: PC problems.
Guys, I had a quick gander at the PC and it appears that the dialler has been removed. The reason it will disconnect the Broadband connection is that if you use a ADSL Modem instead of a router, the ADSL connection does act like a dial up connection and can be terminated like a normal dial up connection. Any dialler would first drop all exisiting connections before it initiated its own call. (That reads very badly, and I apologise for it - too many "connections"!) Leigh did have the MSBLASTER virus as his RPC Service was set to "Restart the machine" if the service failed. Phil.

Open Water - don't waste your time
Agreed! I love the sequence where the last Deputy is shot. Exruciating in the extreme, as is most of the second half. Would love to see Rod Zombies original cut...

HELP!!...computer probs
I suggest that you stop your Messenger Service, and disable the service. You will have no use for it. Got to the Start Menu, Select Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Services. Scroll down the list until you see the messenger service. Right button on the service and select properties. Select disbled from the drop down list and also click on "stop" whilst you are there. I'm worried that your "firewall" is not blocking these messages.

Well done that Officer!
Turbocharged 3.0 V6 slippers if you dont mind....

Well done that Officer!
Should this also read "The Krays were wonderful people, they only murdered their own!" Same sort of logic, it's ok to break the law at certain times. As for losing my license, if that is the punishment, then yes. "If you can't do the time, don't do the crime!" I recently got 3 points for 45 in a 30 by a Front Facing camera. Had the Mrs taken me to the station on her bike, I'd be ok but I drove. Took advice and was told the camera is legal. End of story, pay my fine and take my points.

Well done that Officer!
Nope, not me. If you speed and get caught you take yer medicine. I'm glad Mr Kay got caught, bec (imho) he's a :xxx:, and I speak from experience as I had to spend an uncomfortable hour in his company once, as well as having to endure his dreadful Stevie Wonder retread musical ditties....

Well done that Officer!
If you were on your bike, you could go speeding through Truvelo Cameras at 100 Mph and not get caught!!!

Well done that Officer!
I'd like to thank the Scottish Police for introducing me to a toally new experience, being glad they did their job. Please see here. "He was banned in 1998 after he was clocked at 111mph on the M40 in a Ferrari F40. Kay claimed he was racing home to stop a crazed fan burning down his mansion. " Racing home because he found out Stevie Wonder was still alive more like!!! :xxx: To quote Martin Sheen "Justice!"

Tailgate Window
All sorted now. Thanks.

Tailgate Window
I know this is in the wrong section, but I was paid a visit by some local socially deprived individuals today, who I dare say didn't mean to do what they did to my car, but society has left them no choice. In short, I need a new tailgate window. If anyone has any going, then please do drop me a line. Am willing to take the whole tailgate if it is black, but given the looks and comments I am going to get at a certain nationwide glass centre, any colour will do! Thanks in advance. Phil.

Am I Not In The 'Click'..........
Scottywil, thanks for holding my end (oo-er) but I'm here now. "Fish" - tis better to to be though a fool, than open your mouth and remove all doubt. I think we both should take heed from that.

Am I Not In The 'Click'..........
Well, I can see two reason as to why you did not get the post: 1. You are from Birmingham. 2. You seems to have a liking for Star Wars. By the way, pick your toys up and park your pram safely as you leave.... Phil.

It cant be just my car!?
James! Don't go giving away my expensive, Top Secret Mods! It was a last resort for me as my lock mechanism was lower than a Supra owners IQ and greasier than his boyfriends backside . Just need to gaffer tape them in place, which I'm saving up for. Phil.

Intercooler Question.
Proving the old adage, A Fool and his money are soon parted, I am giving serious thought to JWT500s. Is it wise to go for 555 injectors at the same time, and would this mean new intercoolers as well? Or is the advice, as my partner puts it, "If you need to ask, you shouldn't have them!" Thanks, Phil.

Need a "sensible" car
Cheers Chris! Leave a message if you get the voicemail, as there is no service in the Pub! Phil.
