Whether you intended to or not, you have offended me. I have already sent my £20 and was suggesting that perhaps people were lazy enough not to send a cheque but enthusiastic enough to pay via an on-line method, which would involve minimal conact with the outside world. So I must now sod off bec. I had the temerity to suggest something that might be benficial to the more lethargic amongst us. I now see the a reason why Craig would want to pull the plug on all of this. Would it not have been better to politely suggest that the cheque method was decided to be the best way, rather than telling me to sod off ? As I have said, intended or not, you've cause offence. There seems to be a rash of it around here just now. Is there any reason why I should not be as offended as I am ??? Answers on a postcard pls.

I did read in this month's EVO that Mitsubishi are trying to pull a fast one with the Jap govt. and allow then EVO VIII to have more than 276 BHP standard. If they can do this, then perhaps there is some hope. Or am I barking up the wrong tree bec. I am a tosser ??? (Thought I'd start a slanging match with meself)

Craig : Stop me if you've considered this, but is it now worth setting up an on-line payment option (PayPal) to combat the lethargy associated with Snail Mail and Cheques or is apathy not the problem? I usually pass over sites that don't offer online payment. If you need a hand setting it up, drop me line. Just a thought.....

A few facts first: 1. I own a 300Zx NA which I am very happy with. 2. I don't wish to start any arguments, I just want to understand better. The 300ZX is a one of a kind car, but one thing niggles me about it. If it is so good, why are there so many of these "Fantastic" cars around which have had new engines only after 80k miles. I've seen quite a few for sale on the board with this ailment. If the cars have been lovingly looked after by the owners, why did they need new engines ? I have seen many comments that the Z engine is good for 150k+ miles. Is it the case that these cars have been heavily modded. Please remember, this is not a dig - I am just trying to understand !!!!

I ordered my parts from courtesy Nissan and the whole bill came to £150 inc shipping. It then cost me another £100 to get them fitted at my local Nelson(Arse!). Boy, did it make a difference. I now get an erection whilst driving bec. I love my Z, not for the other reason. Co-incidentally, my other half now likes driving it less.....

Having locked myself out of my Z on 3 separate occasions (short stories but mind numbingly stupid, hence no explaining), I happen to know there is a four digit number on the key's that Nissan(Arse!) use to cut spares. It is at the very top of the key just before the plastic starts. Give this number to the Nissan(Arse!) Parts Dept of your local Nissan(Arse!) Dealer and they should be able to cut a new one for you. Should cost about a fiver. I only have the Red (Valet?) key but it seems to open everything....

I have a Silver Manual NA....Drop me aline if it is of interest.

Y'all, having the gearbox overhauled (replacing synchro's for 4th and 5th bec of crunching). What can I expect to pay ??? Ta.

Following in the current trend, cn anyone help with good mechanics in the above area ??? Ancaster Strood were good but not now.....

Perhaps I have overstated the vibration. It's not a boneshaker, it just brings a slightly pleasant glow to the driving seat area.....!

Try AndyZ - he's prompt and has most bits as he breaks regularly.....cars I mean.....I think.... Browse thru the "for sale" posts to find his addy....

I would like see this too as he cannot be bothered to reply to potential customers, but takes time out to complain over a well deserved comment about his motives and reputation.....

Whilst I have the same story as everyone else here, I think we are all used to the speedy response from AndyZ. He's done the breaking thing before and take it quite seriously. I too am worried by the lack of response, but there is more than likely a good reason for it. Another few days and the brickbats will be well and truly out. I'll see you all in the queue then.....
