I had a dream the other day I was in a car with a nos cannister except all that was in it was air and before using it I had to pump it up kind of like those water spray guns. Maybe I'll sell one of those on ebay ;)

Standard bp ultimate has a 97 RON, shell has 98 right? So the shell is closer to the Japan RON. Don't really know how much the single RON difference will effect it though. Especially if its Ron Corbett.

Ahh... Seems to make sense except they ruined it by calling the 350 a Z and not ZX, then again it makes the zx more unique. Any members with a z31?

You know with the Clean look and the car all pollished up the car looks almost like a brand new concept car. Kind of reminds me of the Dodge Challenger concept but much better looking.

Do exhaust systems with catalytic converters have an effect on emmissions or mpg?

b19rks, they're called premier cars and there's a huge thread about them over on general discussion (called 'It's Huge'). No one knew if they were definately dodgy but many didn't like them much.

The place I'm getting my JDM NA from say there will be a full MOT done before I get to take it. From what people have said though I'm worried they will just pretend its passed the MOT and not care about things like emmissions or lack of rear fog lights etc. Would it be easy for a small company to do that?

righteyo. how much of a hp increase will you get on a NA with that exhaust system?

is that standard for the imports or have the stock exhausts been replaced?

I cant help but notice that ALL the jap import zx's that I've seen have 2 big bore exhausts, and uk's standard spec seem to be the pair of twin tail pipe style. So are the big bores standard for the import spec?

so for pre 92, are the emmisions tests less strict?

if its not fitted will I still be ok filling the car up? I'd have no idea what to look for to see if its there or not.

Found this: Fuel Filler Restrictor - A device built into the fuel tank fill pipe designed to prevent the introduction of leaded fuel to the vehicle. The addition of lead into the vehicle’s fuel system can cause reduced catalytic converter efficiency, causing higher tailpipe emissions. Fuel filler restrictors typically are damaged or worn by using the fuel nozzle at a service station over an extended period of time. So I'm guessing as long as I dont put 4 star in the car I'l be ok.
