Remember I got my Z yesterday? Well it didn't have an immobiliser or anything last night and I was so worried someone was going to take off with it. Whenever I heard a deep noise I was straight to the window (damn my surround sound!). Anyways today a guy is coming round to fit a Toad AI606 (any good?) and I got a stop lock pro this morning. hehe. how much would that cost? And how do you guys see out the back at night? It's like I'm wearing sunglasses. Have they invented photo chromic tinting (like they do for glasses) for car windows yet?

so how fast do I have to be going to spin out the rear in wet and dry with your 'average' zed tyre. And with mine being an NA.

I found the clock, next on my list is to work out how to use the air con/climate control etc. oh no sorry, got to learn japanese first ;) luckily I bought the english manual off ebay. Hope its the same though.

That is the boy racer brigade that 'live by' me not 'love' me ;) gonna go and work out all the controlls in a bit then go for a drive. Is there a clock on the console to the left of the steering wheel?

yeah got it from that premier cars place. Checked out the waranty and it seems fine. As I left they said if there's any problems at all bring it right back and we'll sort it. They do seem like good guys but then the real test would be to see what they're like when something goes wrong. But lets hope I never have to find out.

it was the mid nineties one st205 I think. Not lost back end yet but I've only driven home from brum on the motorway on a sunny day. might have to test out the grip on an empty car park.

fiesta's black. Great little car

I was originally looking at celica gt4's and because of the toyota connection, mr2's kept popping up every now and then. I noticed the targas and loved em but didn't want a 2 seater. Then my mate said "what about a 300zx?" I saw that they were 2+2 and had targas and they look absolutely awesome. It soon became my perfect car so I had to have one. I really can't believe how well they have aged though. Beautiful cars in my opinion.

Drives like a dream. Indicator stick on the wrong side though, oh well I'll have to get used to it. Drove it back from brum very carfully, people musy have been wondering why this amazing piece of machinery was going so slowly.

It has to be said that the general public don't really listen to him. Just some people who take his word as gospel will dislike a car just because he does. I was looking at that 100 greatest cars thing the other day but its only 70 mins long so is there much of a section on the zed?

I blame beckham for inventing that meta-tarsel bone. Never had any problems with it before he broke his. I reckon Victoria made it up.

The cheer the Zed got when it beat the 350z in the top gear generation game was brilliant.

I used to like a bit of prodigy but recently I found that 'Superstition' by stevie wonder is so darn cool to cruise around too. Oh and since at the moment I'm driving a ford, I listen to 'driven by you' by brian may when I'm going 'fast' (it's all relative). Remember those old ford escort ads? Al

It's weird what they love. If they start off slagging a car they end up loving it cus it's cool. Like the new mustang with the crappy suspension and poor power output. Then they may start a review raving about a car but end by saying its not so great, like the mclaren mercedes sl-something or other. Love watching it though.

Just been reading the z car story by Brian long and Clarkson is quoted as saying, "This time they've gone too far. Normally I'd sign petitions and march about it if it would help the grass stay green and the sky stay blue, but not on this occasion. Environmental pressures have signed the death warrant on the 300zx and frankly it's just not on". Just thought I'd post that as some people aren't sure if clarkson likes the zed.
