FA cup final - wanted a good game - got one. Euro cup final - Wanted a good game - Ref ruined it. I really didnt care who won. I have nothing against arsenal but they're not my team so I don't support them. So my selection would be: Don't care as I dont support either team.

So we should have euro super leagues then (winners of that going into the champions league) and stop thinking of teams in the premiership as "british" teams. To think of a team as being british it should be mainly british people behind its success. Look at Chelsea. Owned by russia, Managed by Portugal, Multi national players. They just happen to live in england. Compare Footy teams to films. Is the bourne identity a french film? It was set there. Was Star wars a british or tunisian film? It was made there.

Yeah I do love looking at it. I've read a few comments on the forum comparing the jap super cars (rx 7, gto, supra) and remember one saying the zed looks older than the supra. But everyone who sees the zed who has never seen one before all comment on how you'd never think it was an old car. And for some reason, although supras are great cars and I'd have one, when I see one the same thought pops into my head... Canoe.

Bring back the 3 foreigner rule I say. Or maybe make it a 5 foreigner rule. I love watching great players in the prem but all teams should be mainly made up of players from the country they play in I reckon.

At least I got to learn a lesson and live (no money lost) to tell the tale eh.

Right well I thought I should update this thread now I've had the car 2 weeks. Absolutely love the car, drives like a dream (except for that slidey slide, what the!) and is in great condition. Usual exterior rubber trim peel and silvering back wiper but apart from that its great. the warranty also looked fine and today I even got something in the post that validated the varranty which is good. I think the only real dodgy bits about the dealers are that they didn't put a proper connecter in the radio when they put the cd head unit in. they just twisted the wires together so I had to get a connector for 50p from maplins. Anyways thanks again for all the advice guys. Al

yeah it was a very slight bend maybe that did it.

Shame we couldnt have had an english team in the final. I think I'm glad the spanish beat the french though.

We got a stretch of national speed limit dual carriage way on the way to work. On the way back it was peeing it down and as I got to the road I accelerated hard. As I shifted into second and accelerated the car suddenly spun to the left then quickly to the right and then righted itself. Now I wasnt in a corner and I know about oversteer with rear wheel drive but I'm not sure what happened to me. It all happened in about 2 seconds and I did something with the steering wheel when it happened although I'm not sure what. I think I turned it in the opposite way of both skids then let it straighten. Any ideas? Sh*t me up! Al

so the bumper is ok to re smooth, prime and spray etc? Thought it might be foam or something like those spoilers. It's hard owning a car I like so much. Things like that happen to my fiesta I just dont car. But the zeds got to be spotless.

Here is a picture of the vents under my bumper. Now my car is an NA but the car came with the turbo style vents: When I was hosing the car the other day I noticed the paint started peeling away to reveal yellow underneath. Now I thought they're usually white underneath so any ideas what this is made out of? The paintwork down there is really shoddy too. Al

Went for a drive a few minutes ago and when I got over a certain speed (silly me didn't see exactly what speed but I think it was about 60ish) that bong bong noise started. You know, the noise it makes when you leave the lights on. Except no warning lights were on and the car felt fine. Any ideas? Thanks Al

I know this is an old thread but I've been having this problem today. Had a toad dealer round but wasn't sure how to interface the key fob with the central locking. Anyone got any definitive answers?

foam doesn't sound very good though. Got an image of a spoiler made of bath bubbles now.

mine doesnt feel like foam. It's hard like the bumper. Does that sound more like the fibre glass? Not really sure what either should feel like.

Ok thats cool. I wrote a cheque which was linked to an account I didnt know I had. Sufficeto say it was empty. So I got charged 38 quid. I rang up the guy and told him what happened and arranged to pay in cash. I'm just worried that if he got charged too and his account was empty I'd end up having to owe loads of money for it. ok cheers anyways.

Hey there. The situation: If I pay someone a cheque which then goes on to bounce as there is no money in the account, how much will the recipient of the cheque get charged? Or won't they? I suppose if they do though it depends on the bank so if anyone has any typical values that'd be great. Al

There's a computer at langley. Unfortunately it's not connected to any exterior networks so you can only use it if you're in the same room. This is where you can get to the account records. In this room they have all the security like pressure sensors on the floor, heat sensors and noise sensors. I think I've devised a way of getting in so just pm me if you're interested. Ethan

Yeah its very secure, just that I'd rather not have it coming up at the side so nothing gets into it. how is it usually stuck on around there? is there a kind of glue I can use?
