I was quoted a possible 180 quid taking into account any corrosion. I'd rather not try and do anything to it myself as when it comes to any sort of body work I'm a total disaster area. Ever seen that episode of father ted when they try to tap out a dent in a car? If you have you'll know what I mean.

A nasty little dent that I somehow didn't notice before buying the zed. I still would have bought the zed if I saw it but still its not nice to find. So how much do you think it will cost to fix up?

K thanks. I've seen behind it when the toad guy was doing my alarm and there's a circular kenwood speaker. I think I need to get my ruler out and work out all the sizes. So are all the speaker grills oblong then? not circular?

So can anyone tell me if my speaker grill in the pic above is anything like the stock one?

I hear components are better with the tweeter possibly going in the air conditioning vent. But then a lot of people have said that they have put 6x9's in. And Edk83 was told he could fit 6x9's but he'd have to cut the card. Can anyone tell me if this picture is of the stock speaker grill? And also what do you think it looks like. I'll apologise at this point for the poor quality of the picture. It was dark in my car and I took it with my phone. Can anyone tell what size they are or could be? I think thats the kind of thing I want. Like the ones on ebay. If they fit zeds especially though that'd be great as those universal ruber fit kits are annoying.

does it have the ability to play from sd cards aswell? I know many have the slot for a mem stick as well as the sd (digi cam type) card. My usb head unit is annoying in that if I take out the stick when I leave the car next time I use it, the songs start playing from the first song. That first song then becomes really annoying really quickly. With the SD card you could leave it in the slot all the time. Having said that though the memory sticks are really useful to have with you anyways so probably best to get one of them. Al

Can anyone recommend a good gear knob for the manual zx? Preferably one that has many lines of symmetry or circular when looking down on it. My current gear knob is facing the wrong way when tightened and is annoying me. Also, are short shifters easy to install? Are they worth having and do they take existing knobs? Thanks Al

Yeah that'd be good, emphasise its the Premiership vs Other leagues that'd be amazing. One for after season for odd years (non euro or world cup yeas). Kinda sounds like International Gladiators though ;)
