  1. Found the pic of boldy's effort. Mine is pretty much the same but made from polished ally and is square not curved so it dont look pants! Just make it long enough so the end of it sits in the bumper and completly covers the filter. This way when the water runs down it, it wont drip onto the filter afterwards.
  2. Easy fix Make a splash guard out of metal or plastic. So if the water comes through the seal between the headlight panel and bumper it drips onto the guard instead of the filter. Water then runs down the gard and drips on the floor missing the filter. Wet filter results in moisture entering the maf which will damage it, I replaced mine twice before making the gaurd. Bouldy made one that looked like a pair of pants lol

  6. As you know im leaving home. I'm looking at cheap rented accomdation until my house is sorted out. Place I have found near me has no parking etc and im not sure about leaving the z at my house. Does anyone know of any garages etc I can rent or have any space in the Derby area. I'm trying to get a mate to rent a house with a drive etc with me. But if that doesnt come through I might be a bit stuck. Other option is to do the unthinkable.. Sell. :(
