I think the lens on the camera is making it look slow / frame rate may not be able to keep up with the white lines
  4. One thing the Americans have got right - we should do away with front number plates like they have!
  5. I got pulled the other night for being a bit too throttle happy out of a junction. The copper said that my front number plate was too small (which it is) and also the lettering on the rear plate was too small (which i hadnt noticed). He never gave me a ticket or even asked me for id! I could have been anyone! So i take it that was my first warning and nect time it'll be a fine?!
  6. Are these any good? Link
  7. cheers dude, ill visit maplins. No the keys doesnt work in the drivers door but i had never tried it till the motor died! maybe its had a new door at some point or something. Shes in the body shop now having the imola spoiler done, ill send yea a pic when its done!
  8. the switch on the drivers door is now free as i have disconnected the rod from the motor, the locking mech still works ok. its not a motor - more of an actuator just the electrinically move the locking mech in the door, now when i move the switch on the drivers side the passanger door locks and unlocks electrically fine so there must be an actuator on both sides. Sorry maybe i was confusing people by saying motor. Its the black thing in the bottom of the door then has a rubber boot on the top and a rod connecting it to the locking mech above that i need - surely this is oem?
  9. opposite in the cruise bit?
  10. The FAQ says Replace the rear main engine seal and the rear gearbox seal. Are these different from the rear crank seal? If they are then idealy I'll want all 3 seals. I'll definatly be wanting the Uprated pivot ball and stainless braided clutch line. Let me know what deal you can do me on all the bits I need. Many thanks, Ed
  11. What gaskets/seals need to be changed what the clutch is done? Can i get them from you or normal motor factor be able to get them?
  12. Well i think im gonna go with the RPS clutch as it seems to be what most people have. I'll put an order in on your site in a couple of days
  13. Hi I need a new clutch and want to know which is the best to get? ACT zcentre RPS smithys EZclutch Ebay
  14. so where the hell were you all, no other z's were there!
  15. Nope the film a meant was "The last ride" took me ages to find that on google!
  16. im boosting 14psi so need something fairly good, what do you think of the ebay one? I was going to buy a max street clutch from andy z but he pulled out :(
  17. Also are these worth considering or total rubbish? Comes with flywheel too. ebay linj
  18. I'm think of buying one of these from a forum member for 300 quid. Its used but only done about 300 miles. Anyone know if they are any good, the seller says they are much better than smithy's organic street clutch as the ACT is not organic but a proper heavy duty clutch. Should I get the ACT or spend 30 quid more and get the street clutch from smithy?
  19. There was a third one other than tokyo drift, cant remember what it was called but saw it on sky one night. Was a big advert for the new Pontiac GTO. The film was rubbish but the cars were awsome, if it wasnt made by the same people it was a very good rip off of F&F.
  20. mmm ok i might try adjusting the pedal as it does bite right at the top. But then again if the plate is very worn it will bite at the top wont it? its still manages to grip on normal boost just not high boost so far but its definatly getting worse! I'll have to test it again on low boost to see if it does it.
  21. Yes rps sport will be my solution. But the clutch doesnt smell at all?? still works fine on low boost - but i go nowhere on high boost! Does it in 4th and 5th the most where the torque is high i guess not sure why it doesnt smell at all tho? Could it be anything else?
  22. noone know if the clutch pedal is adjustable then?
  23. the hot weather has killed my clutch due to the tyres having loads more traction! Noooo!
  24. Hi all Im running 14psi boost on (i think) what is a stock clutch. I've been caining the car over the weekend and now the clutch is slipping at high revs on high boost (works ok still on low boost). Due to the high tyre grip in the hot weather there was more pressure on the clutch than ever no i'm not really suprised. The biting point of the clutch pedal is right at the top and always has been so a new uprated clutch will be needed soon anyway but i was wondering if i could adjust the pedal to fix the problem on a temp basis or am i totally screwed?
