mmm ok i have a paintbrush, so carb cleaner and disk brake cleaner are different then! I'll have to get some disk braker cleaner. I suppose you dont want a lubricant on the surface of your disk do you!

try another ptu first mate, i think the plenuim has to be stripped to get to the injectors etc (correct me if im wrong please).

i'd like to ask that as well! It might be a fuel shortage in one cylinder which would be an injector or the cas as it controls them. If one exhaust is poping more than the other then it would indicate that bank has the problem.

My mate is well lucky. He has just come off his ban and his insurance is well cheap because he was convicted more than 5 years ago so dosent affect it. He got a 5 year ban for drink driving on a drink driving ban! Didnt loose his licence, just got a straight ban so he is now 31 with a clean licence which he has had for over 10 years!

If you manage to locate the offending coil pack swap it with the one next door. If the misfire then moves to the other cylinder you know its the coil pack, if it stays on the same cylinder you know its the connector/wiring. I have found that the 15 year old wiring has been subjected to that much heat over the years that it becomes brittle and breaks easy. Ed

ok, open internet explorer go to tools, internet options click on delete cookies and then delete files. Tick the box for delete offline content and click ok, might take it a while. As for the first one its saying the file is infected with a pest or virus what is the name of the exe file that is infected? I cant make it out from the screen shot

what happens if you use the ignor forever option?

Does it direct you to a website to pay $20 for the full version to remove it?

Chris Greddy still selling his, wants 9k for it i think. They dont get much more perfect that his mate - I've seen the beast! If I had 4k id sell mine and buy it

not yet but they are less than a year old and changing the maff seems to have cured it. I was going to change the plugs if the maf and ptu swap didnt help. My new maf is on loan only so need to try and repair mine, i took it off before and blew warm air through it with a hair dryer. Seemed slightly better but still really bad. Is there a good way to service/repair the maf?
