  1. thought mac1 was running about 650bhp? vince about 530 with his nos etc
  2. your car does make a right noise! cant be legal lol
  3. looks good. I'm going to upgrade to hids soon as ill do this at the same time.
  4. These EL gauges suck! I have 3 of them, water, oil and boost. When working they look wicked as they match the EL Z dials (which are currently broken (inverter dead)) Grrr The backlight on my boost gauge failed. I changed the power feed and inverter and was still dead. Changed the gauge and is working again but not exactly the same colour as the old one. I thought oh well, they all work now. Glued my pod in place. Now the EL backlight on my water temp gauge has stopped working GRRR! Hopefully it will be the power feed, fuse or inverter. If its the gauge again i will have to rip the pod off the dash! Note to self - dont glue the pod on! Grrr Rant over
  5. mmm I remember something about a bush they couldnt get out or was fecked when they changed the clutch. Said something about putting it back and packing it with grease. Vibration only started since changed to a single piece prop tho and only very slight at certain speeds.
  6. What would happen if you left it out? I think mine my have been left out
  7. I was gonna get a viper but got the imola instead. Something a little different!
  8. i got 111111km on the way to work today
  9. I cant see the tops of my clocks with my seat adjusted as the top of the steering wheel is in the way!
  10. there was a guy selling a z on ebay the other day which he said was 400bhp i asked him how much boost he was running and what controller/chip he was using and he said it was running 400bhp as standard!
  11. Do you think i should try loosening mine a bit, hitting it and tightening it again?!
  12. yup but the gearbox and diff are not perfectly aligined. the stock prop has a cv joint to counter this but the single piece doesnt!
  13. yeah only a tiny but, its not quite balenced right yet - i will get there one day!
  14. the one on my prop was fine but the rubber boot around it was split so would need replacing soon. You can have it as long as you are willing to take the whole prop off my hands! at least you could confirm the fault before getting a new on
  15. sounds like the bearing then
  16. the washers on the mount for the centre bearing are spacers not washers. Check they have been put on the right way. I have a spare prop if can have if needed, it very worn but did not vibrate when it was on my car. My new single piece prop does vibrate tho!
  17. pete, you said you get some small vibration with your single piece NA. At some point can you take me out in your z so i can see if its anything like what i get with my single? Mine vibrates a tiny amount but its very fast and is noticable. Do you think it could damage the gearbox at all?
  18. I hate beemers but i like the z3 couple! oops did i say that?! There is an m version of it isnt there? With about 400bhp and twin twin exit exhausts. I think they look awsome.
  19. what time was it on i missed it! it might be on thier web site
  20. I should be there
  21. wicked. a blow up garage! I have just undersealed my car totally and it has 0 existing rust. I'm going to keep driving it over the winter but very little, once or twice a week. Cant wait to find a big car park and some snow!
  22. bring out the angle grinder - the best tool in my box!
