  1. If you fit a boost controller,is there a need to fit an after market boost gauge as well, just that it seems the normal thing when seeing other modded cars,is it really needed,as i would of thought the boost controller will only go as high as its set to,and takes care of things!,lets say i fit a Blitz SBC-iD and Power Meter iD,would there be a need for a boost gauge, and(not to sure on this)a aftermarket oil gauge,as i think the Blitz can do this allso, just wonderd!
  2. In this months Japanese Performance mag, quote;"following the introduction of the new standardised format for number plates that came into effect last year,an amendment has just come into force which permits imported vehicles to use the smaller character size plates, similar to those used on motorcycles. This makes life easier for thosewho own grey imports with a number plate indent unable to accomodate a standard sized plate.Tha DVLA has allso tightened up on the background of number plates. They "must not incorporate any design, pattern, texture,or be treated in anyway which gives to any part of the plate the appearance of a design, pattern or texture";)

  12. Pete, the noise you describing is the elec aerial motor trying to move the aerial up or down,it cant do it as its broken off just below where it pops out, thats why i put a black cap over top of where it used to come out,if you pop round weekend i will show you how i stop the motor whineing,Tony;)

  17. Can only say that on my 24v Cosworth, the cruise ,once you set it to around 70mph+made a big diference to fuel economy,it actualy enables you to use less fuel due to the driver not having to come off and on and off accelerator like in normal driving,it uses a form off engine braking too, very efficient but as you say ,you set it then some tit up front decides to slow up or you have to brake for whatever, would be interesting to know if someone does get better mpg on a zed;)
  18. :) Pete,i got the criuse centre from Smithy,he may know more,i only used it the once and it did work, the centre piece with all the buttons is confusing i think due to it coming from japan,i think Stillen do the same centre aswell,i will try to find the instructions, but there in japanese so dont know if they will help, and i cant remember how it works either:p
