Try this mate, http://www.videocoding.de/faq.html#14 and good luck,its as stable as a chocolate teapot,why they tried to develop this MPEG-4 type codec is beyond me,if you down load it it probably wont work,it will screw up your system/graphic card anyway,its still in beta form,bugs all over the place,i got onto it a few weeks back by accident,best thing to do at the moment is keep ya file,wait a few weeks for the update realease thats on its way,if you do download the codec,let us know how you get on,personaly i am stayin well clear of it!cheers,Tony ps its mainly for developers to play with,i dont think there is a single codec to download,you sort of have to build it out of a number of programes/commandlines etc:confused: OK,just found it,but its not Divx-Digest own,just the link http://www.divx-digest.com/software/xvid.html

Is that with the overdrive on or off,just wondering,had same prob on me previous zed for a day or so,then it cleared after using o/d on and of for a day,cleared up then,dont ask why,maybe just luck!;)

Hi james300.hope its sorted tommoro,just to say that the left hand throttle cable/assem is for the cruise control only,so i dont think you could of done some thing there to cause your trouble,would say TPS is prime suspect,goodluck,Tony;)

As for burners they all seem very capable these days,having used a few,must admit that the RICOH burner i had on my older system never failed to copy anything,very impressed with it,would love there latest burners. Jezz_S13, i too have just got DVD MOVIE COPY from Steinberg,very impressed with the conversion quality to VCD,the best i have ever seen,but for one problem,could be due to me having the most terrible flu at the moment,but when it burned the second part of the film to disc the audio was miles out of sync,it did not even seem to be the same track of audio,any ideas,or is it me!Another prob if you can call it that,in the New Project Wizard,in project settings it asks for PAL or NTSC,this is ok,then it says Number of total discs for disc set!,not to sure on this,then next Position of disc in disc set!again not to sure,then it asks for VideoCD Data Track Fixed Size(MB),does this just stay at 5mb all the time,must admit i have only just loaded the program and burned a VCD more for a test than anything due to feeling like shite!any help would be wellcome,i have no patience at the mo,cheers, ps the film in question was originaly in NTSC region one,converted to VCD1 pal,Ac3 sound.Tony;) :D

After all that downloaded it ,only to realise no Divx codec on me new pc,you couldnt do it all again in microsoft Mpeg4 i suppose,LOL :D :D :rolleyes:

Well done to you 300z,i have been doing video/tv/dvd/videocam recording/playback into most formats for about three years,did me head in at first,but got there in the end,i do most in real time recording now thank god,saves masses of time on encoding,and as for Adobe premiere,brill software,but way to heavy for home pc work,its one of the hardest to master,i have a large book on it 600 pages long and its still a pain,ha,ha,got most of my work down to 5 mouse clicks,using the ATI All in Wonder,or me GeForce4 Ti 4200 Vid in/out,great fun making VCD's etc:D :D :D ,you have now caught the bug!

Are you running box through AV1 OR AV2 SCART TO TV,try swapping them over,normaly the AV channels cannot be fine tuned,which could be the case,see if they can be tuned first,failing that connect to uhf/aerial in,then retune to a spare channel,.If you have it going through a video that can cause probs as it may try to out put signal as pal 60 not pal 50,if all fails will think on it some more,:confused: Tony

MMMM just wondering ,could be that your tv is 100hertz apposed to 50 hertz,just an idea!:confused:
