  1. To be truthful the clutch is great, it is a world apart from when I drove it on the other car! It needed a new release bearing and I installed a SS clutch line, which is meant to help a lot, but whatever did it, it is like a slightly heavier normal clutch and driving in london traffic is not a problem.
  2. If it only does it when you are moving sounds like it is boost related!
  3. Stu there may be a chance I can make it, if not have a good birthday mate!
  4. Always a positive side to everything, all the best matey!
  5. tooley thought you were going to the blue oval????
  6. Personally I think the overall aim should be to try and maximise the paid membership! Trying to get the balance right between welcoming noobies into the fold and getting their money that way and getting their money by exclusion, is a difficult balance to achieve! Try not to think of this as I have paid my money and they all should, but how can we get more paid members in the club. Thereby increasing benefits for everyone, traders and members alike, the bigger the club is, the better.

  8. Herman, Can see where you are coming from, but occassionally I post on scoobynet, supra forum and I can see some people visit here from other forums!
  9. Are both the cars in the same state of tune? Even so you can fluff the gear changes in a manual!
  10. sorry to hear this mate, I hope things work out for you!
  11. Cheers guys, I don't want to change the hoses Russ as they have other fittings to connect to the other end, they also contain a restrictor in line that is important.
  12. Hi, I have got an oil cooler which I believe is the same as the one luke at the zedcentre sells! The only problem is the fittings to connect it to the oil hoses are too big any idea where I might get some smaller fittings from?
  13. Thats the biggest foglight I've ever heard of

I would say sort out your steering problems then attack the vibration problem if it is still there! The centre prop mount and the gearbox mount can give similiar problems to the one you are talking about! Maybe try using redline oil in the diff and see if that cures it!
  16. Z1 Howe Rad for $345 or sport 500 turbos for $2000
  17. No you won't have steam coming out of there, it will just spill onto the floor, there is a dipstick with your O.F. bottle.
  18. Jock the pipe feeds into the base of the overflow tank and not the neck!
  19. No vaccum is required in the overflow tank, the vacuum is achieved by the cooling system, cooling down!
  20. Yes it does return it to the water system, the rad cap is a two way valve!
  21. Yes Barry, Try leaving the bleed valve, RH side of radiator undone and the rad cap off, run the engine and top it up as it needs it while it is running. Try depressing the rad hose with your hand, as there can be air trapped in there causing your system to take ages to fill. Top up the reservoir tank as well!
  22. 15th Febuary from 12 o'clock onwards at the Royal Oak nr Farnham Common on the A355 that runs between Junction 2 of the M40 and Junction 6 of the M4 Thought someone might not realise this is the old slough meet under a new name, ie area west of london meet!
