Help finding cheap insurance!
Guys, Do not worry any future insurance deals/details will only be viewable and available to members! Matt and Jodie, The members who have paid to keep this site running and have paid to take advantage of these deals, will not like people who freeload on the good name of this forum. I will tell you one benefit, you won't have your insurance cancelled!

Help finding cheap insurance!
Guys I am in negotiations with houghton insurance about a club deal! I suggest Jodie you join because they will ask you for a membership number! This number will checked against the membership number list and if it does not marry then your insurance will be cancelled, with the associated costs of that. I doubt if they will want to reinsure someone who gives out false information as well.

Iridium spark plugs; are they really any good?
Personally I wouldn't touch irridiums with a barge pole. There is a host of problems associated with irridiums on tt.net, irridiums where a source of detonation on my S13. Do a search on tt.net and on this forum for the huge debates that gone on in the past. I would personally use NGK PFR6B-11B if running a higher boost, and gap them to .9mm! Get them from Cos at CZP! But there again there are a host of people who have used irridiums with no problems. But there are none who have had any probs with platinum!!!!

Baggins, If you live local to John it would be better to let him strap the new one on and test it against that, then it takes a faulty MAF out of the equation!
-
Bloody Det II - Now really p****d
Knowing the history of MAF's on a zed, it is probably that!!

blown blower in kent
Hello Mate, You can also try my mechanic in kent, his name is Martin, he owns a zed and is an ex formula ford mechanic. He just helped me to convert my NA convertible to a twin turbo, probably the cheapest source of turbos at the moment is the states, with Sport 500 costing £1100 for the pair and also being a decent upgrade for the car! His number is 07979375230

How much power will my car have at the wheel when its finished?
John and Mac, I think the best tuning comes from a scientific point of view and a combination of mechanical/practical experience! I usually find that when these two skills combine that the results are optimised! What john is doing with chips is unparalled on this forum, and I hope he continues to research this area! Since our fuel octane rating is uncatered for at this moment. We can never know too much!
